Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that ever since fans found out Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) was pregnant, everyone’s been speculating about how Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) might find out that stunning news. That’s especially true since Sarah’s secret has slowly been trickling out to other people in Salem.
Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans) was first to learn Sarah had a bun in the oven, but Sarah swore her to secrecy.
Once Bonnie told Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) anyway, that left them both in the difficult position of keeping Sarah’s pregnancy under wraps.
Of course, Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) was the next person to learn Sarah was having Xander’s baby, so Days set up several interesting options for how the secret could be exposed.
However, it turns out DOOL writers will take what is perhaps the simplest route possible when Xander bumps into his very pregnant ex!
After all the complicated stories Sarah’s told trying to hide this baby, Days will deliver a clear shocker when Xander encounters his former wife and sees evidence of her pregnancy for himself.
Although Bonnie and Maggie didn’t buy the idea that Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) was the father, Xander might be a different story.
In fact, Xander may assume Rex is the bio dad and decide that’s why Sarah’s been so cagey about her private life in Chicago.
Since Rex recently proposed, it’s possible Sarah will marry him offscreen so that they can be a united front right off the bat.
Sarah might admit Rex is her husband now, which could leave Xander even more convinced this baby must be Rex’s instead.
In other words, Xander’s probably going to make some wrong assumptions that give Sarah an easy opportunity to deceive him.
Days spoilers say Sarah will indeed lie to Xander, so she may decide to just go with it once he assumes Rex is the “baby daddy.”
Maybe Sarah will hope that they can avoid a DNA test, custody fight and all the other drama that would come from Xander knowing the truth.
