Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) may decide to cut Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) loose. Ever since Alex found out Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) chose Maggie as Sonny Kiriakis’ (Zach Tinker) replacement, he’s been causing problems.
Alex assumed he’d take the Titan throne after Sonny vacated it, but Victor had other plans.
Since Alex doesn’t think Maggie is qualified and doesn’t agree with the decisions she’s been making, it’s set up some serious tension between them.
Since Alex tried to go behind Maggie’s back to save Belle Magazine, that made things even worse.
Maggie threatened to fire Alex if he did it again, but Days spoilers say there are other paths to him losing his job.
Alex’s wild bedroom escapades cost him the CEO job, but they could cost Alex his current job, too.
It looks like Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) may try to go public with proof of the steamy night Alex and Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) are about to have.
That could be the last straw for Victor or even Maggie now that she’s making hiring and firing decisions.
Days spoilers suggest Maggie may be looking for an excuse to fire Alex anyway since he’s arrogant and fighting her on everything.
Although Maggie originally wanted Alex to be her right-hand man and help her steer Titan in a positive direction, they just aren’t a good business team.
As luck would have it, Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) just quit his job at The Spectator to make things easier for Gwen.

DOOL fans know Maggie has a soft spot for Xander and wishes he’d been able to work things out in his marriage to Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey).
It’s easy to see why Maggie would prefer to work with Xander instead of Alex.
Xander is heartbroken and looking for a new sense of purpose, so Days spoilers hint that Maggie may have the solution.
Perhaps Maggie will fire Alex and replace him with Xander, which would give Xander something else to focus on besides his sorrow.
