Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will have a proposition for Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) to mull over. Since Chloe is currently unemployed, she’s really hoping to lock in a new job and start paying her own way at the apartment.
Unfortunately, it seems there aren’t a lot of open positions in Salem lately.
Days spoilers suggest that Chloe will get frustrated with her job hunt and may complain to Xander about hitting nothing but dead ends.
It could leave Chloe worried she’ll end up having to work at Buddy’s Burger Barn or somewhere else that she considers beneath her!
However, Xander will have what he thinks is a brilliant idea during the week of May 22-26.
Days spoilers say Xander will insist that Chloe should just come to work for him.
It sounds like Xander will push Chloe to come on board at The Spectator and perhaps become a staff writer or do even something in advertising.
There’s surely some position that Chloe could fill if she’s willing to spend even more time around Xander.
That could be dangerous since Xander and Chloe are already close to crossing over into romantic territory.
Chloe and Xander’s attempt to be platonic roommates is slowly morphing into a situation where they’re struggling to resist each other.
Days spoilers say Chloe may not be eager to add more temptation to her list of problems – and she may not be keen on accepting a pity role at the newspaper either.
Of course, there’s no guarantee Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) would approve this hiring decision, so Xander’s offer may not go according to plan – even if Chloe accepts it.
Then again, Gwen might feel like she needs to put on an act and pretend she’s totally fine with this.
The last thing Gwen wants is Xander thinking she’s jealous, so she might let him hire Chloe if he chooses to.
There’s another option to consider if Xander ultimately gets hired to take Alex Kiriakis’ (Robert Scott Wilson) place at Titan.
If Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) lets Xander slide in Alex’s spot, maybe Xander could talk Maggie into bringing Chloe on as another member of the team.
One way or another, Xander and Chloe could get a chance at DOOL powercouple status – that is if they’re willing to surrender to temptation and take some big steps forward together.
Regardless, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Xander will give Chloe updates on a job offer, so she’ll react to that news and give it some serious thought.
