Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Monday, April 17, teases that Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) will try to figure out a way out of their current predicament.
Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) locked Kayla and Steve in the wine cellar of Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) old family home, but they’re anxious to return to Salem.
Of course, Bo’s programming is making things difficult, so Steve and Kayla will join forces to get through to him.
Days spoilers say Kayla and Steve will try to remind Bo of what truly matters – like the friends and family members who love him.
Bo has been working to convince himself that his future is all that matters, but Steve and Kayla will give him a blast from the past and hope to snap him out of his current state.
Although Kayla and Steve may get through to Bo on some level, they’ll probably just wind up overloading his brain in the end.
Steve and Kayla may not accomplish much more than making Bo agitated – at least for now.
In the meantime, Hope Williams Brady (Kristian Alfonso) and Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) will have a strategy session that leads them to divide and conquer.
While Harris is out hunting for Kayla in nearby villas, Hope will apparently seek info from the police station where Steve was last seen.
Days spoilers reveal that Hope will get some baffling info about the guy who showed up claiming to be Shane Donovan (Charles Shaughnessy).
DOOL fans know that was actually Bo posing as Shane, so Hope should be able to confirm “Shane” was an imposter pretty quickly based on what she learns.
Hope will mull over who that mystery man was while Thomas Banks (Eileen Davidson) plots a sneak attack elsewhere.
Thomas will lurk as Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) arrive in Greece to help track Kayla down.
That’ll lead to Thomas pulling a gun on Stephanie and Chad within the next couple episodes, so some major drama’s about to go down.
Until then, Harris may get his own cliffhanger moment when he goes exploring and stumbles across Bo in one of those villas we mentioned.
At Statesville, Megan Hathaway (Miranda Wilson) and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will play a few mind games with each other as they consider a potential DiMera sister alliance.
Based on some hints Megan offers, Kristen will discover that Bo isn’t dead, so she’ll come up with a scheme that could earn her a visit with Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater).
After Brady catches up with John Black (Drake Hogestyn) at the townhouse, he’ll get a surprising phone call from Kristen.
Days spoilers say Kristen will make Brady a tempting offer and promise a hot scoop will be waiting on him if he comes to the prison.
Brady will indeed make the trip to Statesville and wonder what this is all about, so Kristen will offer updates on some valuable news in exchange for Rachel bonding time.
However, Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest Kristen may have a change of heart when it comes to betraying Megan since she’d rather have an ally than an enemy.
