Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Monday, January 1, reveals that Paulina Price’s (Jackée Harry) excitement will turn to disappointment. Although Paulina will expect a magical night in the bedroom with Abe Carver (James Reynolds), he’ll have to pump the brakes.
Although DOOL fans may not get updates on the full story until later during the week of January 1-5, we know Abe’s going to have some intimacy issues and end up feeling apologetic.
Meanwhile, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will help Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) get over her nervousness as they hit the sheets back at the DiMera mansion.
That’s also where Nicole DiMera (Arianne Zucker) will toast to the new year and look forward to putting all the dreadful events of 2023 behind her.
Nicole will head to bed with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), but she’ll get a phone call that interrupts before they can fall asleep.
Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will be the one to fill Nicole in on all the chaos happening with Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis), who just overdosed outside The Bistro.
Days spoilers say Nicole will be an emotional wreck as she rushes to meet Holly at the hospital, which is where the EMTs will take her.
Holly’s medical team will work to save her life, but she’ll end up in a coma and on life support.
Other Days spoilers say Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) will interrogate Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) and Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) about all the drug drama.
There’ll be no guarantees on Holly’s survival at that point, so Harris will make it clear that this is serious business.
Next, Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) will fume when Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) acts like Tate Black (Jamie Martin Mann) might’ve supplied the tainted drugs to Holly.
It’ll leave Theresa riled up and ready to defend her son.
As for Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), Days spoilers say he’ll try to make sense of what went down and question Tate after Holly’s rushed to the hospital.
Although the cops will catch Tate holding the drug baggie, he’ll swear it’s not his and will point the finger at Holly.
Of course, EJ will balk at the idea of Holly dabbling in drugs and will think Tate should be held responsible.
At some point, Brady will pipe up that the pills are his and try to take the blame to protect Tate.
When Theresa finds out what Brady’s doing, she’ll push Tate to let his dad help him.
However, Tate won’t feel right about that, so he’ll make a false confession of his own eventually.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say comatose Holly may be the only one who can clear Tate’s name, so stay tuned for news on when she’ll wake up.
