Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Monday, June 12, reveals that Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) will decide it’s time to replace Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) since he turned down her offer to return to Titan.
Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) fought hard to score his son another chance, but now Alex is ready to move on and embrace a role at Basic Black instead.
Maggie would rather have Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) in the position anyway, so she’ll pay Xander a visit and interrupt his attempt to kiss Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) again.
When Xander finds out Maggie wants him to join her team at Titan, he’ll be reluctant to accept the role.
Days spoilers say Xander will agree to think about it, but he’ll privately confide in Chloe about his concerns.
For starters, Xander won’t want to leave Chloe to fend for herself against Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien), who’s determined to make Chloe absolutely miserable.
Without Xander around, Gwen would inevitably treat Chloe even worse.
However, the real reason for Xander’s hesitation will involve his desire to get closer to Chloe and put Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) in the rearview mirror.
Xander won’t want to get sucked back into the Sarah vortex and set himself up for more heartbreak, so he’ll hope to concentrate on a fresh start with Chloe instead.
Of course, Xander doesn’t realize Sarah is pregnant with his baby, but Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans) knows about that bun in the oven and will tell Justin on Monday’s DOOL episode.
While Bonnie reveals to Justin that Sarah is expecting Xander’s bundle of joy, Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte) will lash out at Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart).
Gwen may intervene and drag Dimitri off to their planned lunch before he can escalate things any further.
Dimitri hates Leo over some old drama on the Beyond Salem series, but Gwen will shift gears and hope they can talk about more recent developments – namely ones involving Dimitri and his fascinating life.
Naturally, Dimitri will contend that Gwen’s life seems pretty fascinating, too.
Days spoilers say Dimitri will use the info packet Megan DiMera (Miranda Wilson) provided and ask the right questions to show his interest.
Once Dimitri flirts with Gwen and finds a way to connect with her, he’ll complete step one of his mission to find a bride before his 40th birthday.
While Gwen interviews Dimitri and becomes enamored in the process, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will face a difficult day by Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) grave.
As Chad copes with the first-year anniversary of losing Abigail, he’ll get guidance from Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) about letting himself love Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) since Abigail would approve.
Days spoilers say Chad will ultimately slip his wedding ring off his finger and focus on his desire to move on with someone else who makes him happy.
Stephanie fits in Chad’s world nicely and adores his children, so he’ll feel good about where things are headed between them.
Alex, on the other hand, will trash Chad a bit in Monday’s episode.
Since Alex won’t know about Chad taking his ring off yet, he’ll stop by to see Stephanie and act like Chad’s hung up on his deceased wife.
Stephanie will defend Chad since he’s entitled to mourn for however long he needs, but Alex will feel like she may never measure up to Abigail in Chad’s eyes.
Fortunately, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Chad will offer updates on his decision to ditch the wedding ring and look to the future, so Stephanie will be proud of him and his news.
