Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Monday, May 22, teases that EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) marriage proposal will lead to backlash. Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) will blast EJ for doing something impulsive with the wrong motives, so he’ll know he screwed up.
EJ will apologize for his less than romantic gesture, but he’ll assure Nicole that he loves her and wants to build a future with her.
It turns out EJ will try to smooth things over and get Nicole to consider marriage as a down-the-road option.
However, Nicole’s biggest marriage holdup right now is the unknown paternity of her baby.
Days spoilers say Nicole will reflect on that mystery during a chat with her little one and will know she can’t marry EJ until she knows the truth.
This child could belong to Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) instead, but he has no idea since Nicole’s hiding her bun in the oven.
Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) found out Nicole’s secret and is keeping it from Eric as well, so that should get tougher soon enough.
At the police station, Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) will continue her interrogation of Sloan, who truly doesn’t know where Colin Bedford (Jasper Newman) went.
Sloan will keep swearing that she’s not linked to Colin’s crimes and will hope the charges go away eventually.
Later, Eric will back Sloan into a corner with an ultimatum. Sloan may get a reminder about how much Eric hates secrets and push her to stop deceiving him about things when he just wants to help.
If Sloan can’t give Eric honesty, he may warn that their relationship just isn’t going to work.
Sloan might vow to stop with all the deception, but it looks like she’ll keep hiding Nicole’s pregnancy news and paternity dilemma anyway,
Other Days spoilers say Abe Carver (James Reynolds) will get the proper medical care at the hospital, where Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will take him now that he’s been discovered at Sweet Bits.
DOOL fans can expect Abe to battle growing fears about Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) since she’s stuck in Colin’s dangerous clutches.
While Abe urges Rafe to track Paulina down, Jada and Talia Hunter (Aketra Sevillian) will join forces.
Two heads are better than one, so Talia and Jada will bounce ideas off each other until Talia realizes Colin must want Paulina dead like his mom.
Since Martha Bedford died after Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) accidentally shoved her off the ledge, Colin will want Paulina to take a fatal plummet of her own.
Days spoilers say Chanel will pump the brakes on Colin’s plot when she tells her side of the London story.
Chanel will talk about how Nathan Bedford took advantage of her before Martha lured her up to the English building rooftop.
Martha went ballistic and attacked Chanel, who shoved her away and didn’t realize the edge was so close.
Chanel will hope to make Colin finally understand that her role in Martha’s fate was an accident.
Sadly, Chanel’s plan will backfire when she makes Colin even angrier than before.
It’ll lead to Colin pulling his gun on Chanel next, but Talia will make a brave decision once she heads up to the roof with Jada.
Talia will struggle with Colin as she tries to pry the gun from his grip, but they’ll both lose their balance and fly off the building themselves!
