Tonight’s episode begins with FBI Special Agent Kellet who continued to date her Hungarian policeman. He seemed like a genuinely nice guy. He was interested in her. She was interested in him. It wasn’t really all that complicated. It wasn’t like her past relationship with Forrester. This relationship might have a future and so Kellet was enjoying that when work called. She and the others got called in after a plane was diverted thanks to a bomb threat. Someone wrote the word “BOMB” on the mirror of the bathroom. The word quickly spread onboard about there being a bomb and soon everyone was freaking out.

The plane was forced to land in Morocco. Mike Kemp needed urgent medical attention because he left his seat during the commotion, and he suffered what appeared to be a cardiac event. The authorities didn’t want to let Mike’s son Tyler go with him because he still needed to talk to the cops, but Forrester stepped in. Forrester saw how worried Tyler was and he offered to send someone to personally escort Tyler to the hospital. He sent Special Agent Raines. Raines drove Tyler to the hospital and there they learned that Mike never got to the hospital.

Mike had been kidnapped. Mike was in fact a DEA Agent. He was on vacation with his son and they like everyone else were supposed to soak up sun in Greece. Only the bomb thing ruined their plans. The plane the diverted and everyone had to investigate whether or not there was a bomb on the plane. Then Mike was taken. He was taken in the confusion. The FBI came to believe Mike’s abduction was the sole reason for the bomb threat. Mike wasn’t just any DEA Agent. He was personally in charge at the DEA’s office in the Netherlands.

It was up to Mike to assist Europol in locating drug dealers. Plus, there was a syringe they found onboard that had the remains of the date rape drug. Mike had been drugged onboard the plane. Its why everyone assumed he suffered a cardiac event. Its how the fake paramedics got close enough to Mike to grab him and the FBI did see them give Mike another injection as he was being driven away. They probably gave him more sedation to keep him under. And so everyone wanted to know who the fake paramedics were working for.

It was Smitty who first said out loud that Mike was taken by the Mocro Mafia. The Mocro Mafia seemed the obvious choice. Especially as they were particularly brazen. This sort of crime would have been right up their alley. They also operated within Morroco and so that’s why they faked a bomb threat at that exact moment. They wanted to force Mike to come to them. They couldn’t abduct him when he was in the Netherlands because that would have drawn too much attention, but grabbing him from the plane during a moment of chaos, no one would be able to prove it was them.

They also got a major asset in taking Mike. Mike knew about undercover DEA Agents. He even knew about criminal informants that were spying on the mob and so he could be tortured for information. Now, Mike’s bosses weren’t all that worried about that. They said they trained Mike to sustain torture. It was Forrester who said every man has a breaking point and he was worried that the mob would reach Mike’s before they could rescue him or prevent his execution. It also didn’t help that Forrester had to see Mike’s son struggling with the disappearance of his father.

The feds were honest with the teenager. They told him that his dad had been taken and he realized the plane was diverted just for that reason. He gladly handed over his phone in case his dad’s kidnappers called with a ransom. Tyler was still hopeful that maybe they could pay to get his dad back while the others didn’t think that was the case. They found out who helped on the plane to drug Mike. It was a US Air Marshall who got the drug on the plane because he was being blackmailed. And he put the drug in the compartment over the seat of another man.

It was up to this other man to drug Mike. This man was found and arrested. He didn’t want to cooperate and so the feds drove around Morco Mob’s territory to make it look like their guy was working with the cops. Once he realized there was no hope for him or his family there, the guy began to cooperate. He told them where they could find Mike. They had to go in guns blazing and they saw Mike leaving in a truck that they had to run down. But ultimately they got back Mike. He was rescued. He was a little banged up from being tortured but he was glad to be with his son and they couldn’t wait to leave Morocco.

Kellet was also happy to be leaving because she had made plans with her policeman that she knew would take her mind off of work.
