Tonight’s episode begins with some security guards removing money from the back of an armoured car for Providence Armoured. One of the men roll money into a strip bar, it is all one dollar bills and they trade it for the equivalent in larger bills. The other security guard is on his cell phone in the truck and its slow react when his partner gets robbed. The robber gets away.

Omar shows Maggie a new place that he is getting and she asks him how he can afford it, he makes the same as her. Then she sees a showy watch that he on and he says it makes him happy. They get the call for the robbery but before they leave Omar sees on TV that crypto is going down and he looks like he is about to faint. On the way to the scene Omar is calling his broker and telling him to sell, Stuart hears him and says don’t tell me you bought crypto. Stuart tells him to stay away from crypto, buy S&P 500 and keep it safe.

They speak to the driver, he says he saw nothing. Back at the station Jubal says this is the fifth armored car robbery in a row. The perp had a getaway car, it was reported stolen earlier that morning. They do a GPS tracking and are able to find it.

Maggie and Tiffany go to check out the car and when they get there they hear a gun shot, another robbery is in progress. They run after the perp but he gets away. They call Jubal and tell him its like the guy disappeared. This newest robbery was in a pawn shop, the owner says the guy sounded white, probably from Brooklyn. He shows a video to Omar and Stuart. The bag he put the money in said I Love NY. Stuart leaves the place and Omar sees a sign that says Short Term Loans. He asks the owner about getting a loan for 30 or 60 days.

Maggie and Tiffany go looking and find a black jacket in a trash dumpster, Tiffany thinks the guy went in the subway to get away. They have a hit, a guy in the subway has a bag with I Love NY on it, his name is Michael Holt, and he has a record for robbery. Jubal is sure that he is an accomplice. Through cell signals they are able to find a location where Holt is, the team arrives and sees him arrive and fist pump a guy, he has a bag in his hands and a big smile. Tiffany and Maggie follow him, from behind. They go inside, a brief scuffle and one of the guys has a gun, but little does he know that the rest of the team is behind him. Both guys are arrested.

At the station, Omar is on the phone, he tells the person that the interest is ridiculous, where does he get off charing 18%. Stuart walks up and tells Omar that Isobel wants them to question Holt. Holt says he snatched the bag from a sketchy looking dude, he pushed him down the stairs and grabbed the bag, he didn’t steal it. He saw an opportunity and he took it. Holt says he remembers the guy having really expensive shows on. The team finds subway footage, they find a video where Holt did push the guy down the stairs and steal the bag. He was telling the truth.

The team gets a video of the perp getting into a cab after Holt robbed him. They are able to track the cab down to going to a strip bar, the team head there and show a security guard a photo of the guy, he says he knows him, it is the owner, Tom Hoffman and he is in the building. Hoffman sees Omar and Stuart, makes a run for it, but he doesn’t get away, they arrest him for theft and attempted murder.

Hoffman says he didn’t have a choice, Mason SImonian said he would kill his parents and him if he didn’t pay him back the 300 grand that he owes them. Hoffman says the family of four that was killed last week in Queens, that was Mason. Dude owed 100 grand, Mason wiped out his whole family. He say she grew up dirt poor, he worked 9-5 for ten years, opened the club and starting living. He had bad credit, the banks wouldn’t touch him, so he went to Mason. The market went south, especially his crypto stuff, it dropped so fast. Stuart tells him that maybe his lawyer can spin this stupitidy into an insanity deal.

Mason Simonian is a high level target, an agent in their building has been tracking him, so Jubal and Isobel go speak to her. She says Mason is a dangerous man and they think he is good for five or six murders. But he is smart, he got himself a hail house phd. Omar goes back to Hoffman, they want him to set up Mason, or he is going to sit in a cell for twenty years. Hoffman says Mason told him that he is going to shoot his parents and put a bullet in his head. Omar says the only way they are going to get Mason. Hoffman gives in, for the hopes of getting a lighter sentence.

They do the set up but Mason doesn’t buy it, even with Tiffany posing as Hoffman’s girlfriend and pretending her parents are rich and she can get the cash from them that Hoffman owes Mason. Jubal says Mason is smart, they need to try again. Stuart thinks Hoffman came on way too smart, that is why Mason got nervous and didn’t take the bait. Stuart goes to make a person call, Omar makes a call and the 18% has gone down to 14% so Omar is now interested. All of a sudden, Stuart jumps back in the car and says go, go, Mason has got Tiffany and the bag of money. They speed off and call it in for support, they after the vehicle. Tiffany is in the back of the vehicle, Mason asks her how she likes to be involved in his business now. Mason calls Hoffman and tells him that he has his girlfriend and he better get his money.

Backup arrives and they track down where Mason has taken Tiffany, once inside the house, guns are aimed and they are going to find Tiffany. They find her upstairs, bound, but she is going to be ok. She has a hit on her head and needs stictches, but she is going to be ok. Mason is dead, Hoffman is in jail, his parents are ok. Omar promises Hoffman that he will do what he can for him, he did his part of the deal.

Stuart asks Omar if he needs help, meaning his problems with Crypto and he says no, he has taking care of it. Omar tells him that he appreciates the offer but he is good. Stuart says that he considers them to be good friends, so the next time he is in a jam, just talk to him.
