In tonight’s FBI episode, Maggie’s sister was back in town. Her sister was a bit of a troublemaker. Trouble finds Erin wherever she goes. It just never seemed to be her fault. Erin was a drug addict. The last conversation between the two sisters ended with Maggie having to write Erin off because she couldn’t help someone who refused to help themselves. But Erin said she’s better now.

She’s back in New York because she said she’s been clean for months. She wanted to start over and Maggie didn’t think New York was the best fit. The city holds a lot of temptation for Erin. Erin also tried living there once before with Maggie and she fell off the wagon.

Maggie didn’t think moving back was a great idea. Only Erin said she was good now. She’ s been staying with a friend that she met at rehab. She’s actually been back a full three weeks before she contacted Maggie and she was only contacting her because she needed a favor.

Erin said a friend went missing. She was wondering if Maggie could help find this person. Maggie had to remind her that she couldn’t just go searching for people. She was FBI. She kinda needed a reason before she or anyone else she’s connected to open an investigation.

Maggie was luckily called into work at that point. She made her excuses with Erin. She put the whole thing behind her and unfortunately Erin was connected to the case her team later caught. The FBI were informed after a person died in a federal park.

Any crime that happens on federal property was considered a federal crime. The FBI began looking into this murder. Their victim was Rafael Morales. He has three priors. There were all drug offences and so he was a drug dealer before his death. And someone shot him point blank to the head.

Rafael got into an altercation a couple days before he died. The FBI tracked down the man he fought with. The guy had an alibi for the time of the murder and he gave them a name. He said Rafael had a partner. The partner’s name was JJ Gomez. Maggie and OA went to JJ”s home.

They found the door open. They also found Erin knocked out on the floor. Erin was unfortunately staying there with her friend Nikki and Nikki’s boyfriend JJ until JJ disappeared. He was the guy that Erin wanted Maggie to track down.

It turns out JJ disappeared on everyone. He angered a lot of people with that. There were a couple of them that wore masks and broke into his apartment to abduct his girlfriend because they too wanted to know where JJ was. Erin tried to defend her friend. She got knocked out.

The next thing she knows is that Maggie is standing over her. Maggie got an ambulance for her. She required stitches for the blow she took to the head. And the first thing that Maggie asked her once she was back on her feet was if she was using again.

Not “are you okay”. Maggie had the FBI search the apartment. They found two ounces of cocaine there. Maggie came to question what exactly Erin was doing at the apartment and Erin claimed it wasn’t drugs. Erin told them about what happened. She also said she never really talked to JJ.

She was more Nikki’s friend. Nikki has been by her side while she struggled to get clean. She said she never would have turned her life around without her and that Nikki was the one person who never gave up on her. Maggie hadn’t been the only one that wrote off Erin. Everyone else had done it, too.

The FBI went looking for JJ. They eventually found him with Nikki’s father. He had been shot and not by the old man. A third party shot JJ. JJ died without saying who was behind Nikki’s abduction. There was also not pictures of surveillance cameras of the shooter. Only they found JJ’s cell phone.

They found the threatening message from Nikki’s abductors. They were demanding thirty-five thousand dollars for a debt JJ owes. JJ went to Nikki’s father for the money. He didn’t have it himself and Nikki’s father hadn’t trusted him because he’s been down this road before. He thought JJ was just looking to buy more drugs.

It probably didn’t help that JJ was on something when he confronted the older man. Now JJ’s dead. He was murdered by whoever took Nikki and the FBI now had to look for her. They traced the text message that was sent to JJ. It was from a burner phone. The user turned it off right after using it.

They couldn’t get a name that way, but they did track down the Wi-Fi it used. It led back to a drug hotspot. They needed an in. Someone who used to go there and Maggie’s bosses thought of her sister. They thought Erin would be the perfect person to go in undercover.

Maggie was against the idea. She thought Erin would be risking temptation. She just couldn’t stop Erin from doing this because Erin said she wanted to help Nikki and this was the only way. Erin went to the bar. She went looking for coke. She was given a test when she met the big boss.

She was told to snort a line. It had looked like she did it, but she later claimed she faked it and that she was only pretending to do the coke to gain some trust. Erin left the bar after that. She returned to the FBI. office And her sister demanded she’d do the drug test.

Erin went through with the test. Not that her sister was any happier with a negative test. Maggie then demanded that she herself make a deal with Sammy for Nikki and she tried to dismiss Erin only Erin wouldn’t go away. Erin approached Sammy. She pretended that she talked to JJ.

She claimed that JJ told her everything right before he died. She said she was willing to pay for Nikki and so Sammy later shot her a text. He did it from the same burner that was used to threaten JJ. Which meant Sammy was their guy. He had Nikki and so the FBI allowed Erin to make a deal with him.

Erin met up with Sammy at a terminal. She agreed to show him the money if he showed her Nikki. He showed her Nikki on his phone and so she was giving him the money when Maggie blew things. Maggie was hanging around a little too closely. Sammy spotted her several times.

He then pulled a gun on Erin and he knocked her out again. And that resulted in OA having to shoot him. It was a miracle that Nikki was at the terminal because they wouldn’t have been able to rescue her if she wasn’t. And so Nikki’s life was saved – just not because of Maggie.

Erin was also going to be alright and Maggie asked her to leave New York again. The real reason that Maggie doesn’t want her around is because Erin embarrasses her whenever she’s in New York. And so Maggie finally told her that, but Erin still said she wasn’t leaving.

THE END!
