Tonight’s FBI episode begins late at night, a young lady just makes it to a convenience store as it is closing, and buys an energy drink. The owner locks the door and three guys walk up, they asks the women to open up and she doesn’t. All of a sudden, they hear the girl scream and an alarm go off, they run to see what is happened and a van grabbed the girl, her cell phone and the energy drink on the ground.

The next day, Maggie and Omar are on he scene, the victim was Allison Becker, 22 years old and the only child of Senator David Becker. They don’t know much. Its a dead zone, no cameras in the area.

Maggie and Omar speak to the store owner, she says there were punks bothering her when it happened, she saw that it was a grey van that sped away.

Jubal tells the team this is a high profile case and soon, all eyes will be on them, they need to act fast. Her roommate confirms that Allison didn’t make it home, but they were not really close. On her cell phone, nothing much, she is boring. But her father, comes from a wealthy family and his politics are controversial. He is a mouth piece for the left and has a lot of power. Jubal says the people on the right are probably not happy then.

Maggie, Omar and Isobel go see David Becker who says he gets threats all he time but nothing serious. His daughter did say that a guy might be following her and he wanted to involve the capitol police and she wouldn’t let him, he doesn’t know why he listened to her. He was worried, and that is why he put that alarm on her phone. Becker tells Isobel that wants everyone looking for his baby.

Street cams near Columbia, her school, two weeks ago, a guy was following Allison and photographing her, the camera was cheap so they don’t think it was paparazzi. Footage from the bank across the street gives them a clear photo of the guy, Adrian Bose, ex cop with DC metro, he was charged with battery against his wife.

Two days ago he posted that Becker was a puppet and a traitor. He has a permanent address in Virginia and his cell phone is pinging near the Senator’s home, Jubal thinks he is targeting the family, he tells them to warn the Senator and send Omar and Maggie back there immediately.

Omar and Maggie head over there and see a guy in a blue Kia with Virginia licence plates. A closer look and it is Bose, they get him out of the vehicle and he says he knows nothing about Allison missing, he was at a strip club and he has a receipt in his pocket to prove it. He does oppo research for a super pack, they pay him to take photos of the Senator and his daughter, they promised him a bonus if he found something sketchy and he says yes, he can’t stand Becker. He gives up the thumb drive of photos.

Back at the station, most of the photos were at Manhattan, but they do see her in front of building every Tuesday night for the past three weeks. The sole tenant is Sober Harbour, a halfway house for parole drug offenders.

Next stop for Omar and Maggie are Sober Harbour, they find the manager Helen York. She thinks they are there for another missing girl, Katie Ryan, one of the residents who went missing three days ago. They go into Katie’s room, she looks a lot like Allison. Katie had a curfew pass to have dinner with her mom and the next morning her mother reported her missing to the NYPD in Brownsville. They tell Helen that Allison is missing too, she reveals that Allison was a volunteer there. And, everyone else is on edge since Katie went missing.

Omar and Maggie go to see Katie’s mother, she is really upset that NYPD did nothing for three days, they didn’t take it seriously. Her mother says that Katie mentioned Allison, she really liked her and says that she was a new volunteer.

Footage of Katie in a convenience store, they can see her being abducted. They show it to Becker to see if he can recognize the perpertraitor, but nothing. Jubal has a good news, there is a lead, there is a bump in Katie’s pocket, she had ear buds in her pocket and they will be able to trace it because they have her cell phone. Becker tells Isobel that finding his daughter alive better be her priority.

The team tracks down the signal from the ear buds to an empty building, clearly someone has been squatting there, but the place is empty, there is a mattress on the floor. More looking around, the find a door behind and blockage, break it open and go down into a basement where there is another mattress and blankets, the earbuds are on a table, a gold necklace with the letter A on it, and handcuffs.

Half the buildings around the neighbourhood are vacant, nobody was paying attention to what was going on here. The owner of the building is Colleen Curtis, real estate investor, 50 years old, unmarried and doesn’t fit the profile of the kidnapper. Jubal notified her and she is on the way there now.

Colleen shows up, she says she has a manager who watches over the building, supposed to drop by once a week, his name is Caleb Vance and he is 25 years old with a long record of breaking and entering as well as various stalking charges. No phone records or family. He has a credit card and made a $500 payment to Paypal the day Katie was abducted to Ray Laforge, a forklift operator with two priors.

A visit to Laforge’s place by Tiffany and Start and he doesn’t want to open the door, all of a sudden there is a scream, so they burst open the door guns aimed. Inside a women calls out to Ray, she says her name is Maria Nunez. Ray says she is not his wife, they ask about Caleb Vance, he met him on Craig’s List and he purchased two large toy chests. A deep look into Vance and he was abused by his mother, she was a prostitute and addict, she died six months ago and looks like the two victims. Now it all makes sense. He told his counsellor that his mother would lock him in a toy chess to punish him.

Their best lead is a grey van with cardboard on the window. Isobel says they should use Becker’s clout to gain media attention to the case. Becker does a press conference and says his daughter is in grave danger and may not have much time, if they see the man on the screen, Caleb Vance, he is a person of interest, if they see the grey van, call the FBI tip line immediately. The response is overwhelming. They get multiple reports from Red Hook, a guy matching Caleb’s description is filling a grey van with gas.

The team heads out and it docent take long for Omar to see the grey van, he and Maggie go after it. They stop it, but Caleb makes a run for it and he van is empty. Its a foot race to catch up with Caleb, they lost him.

Caleb heads to a bus, but they catch him. Maggie tells him it is over, gives Omar time to grab the knife out of hand and cuff him. They bring him in, he is calm as ever and won’t say a word. Isobel thinks she knows how to crack him. She goes in alone to see him, she tires to confuse him, she tells him that he took Alison Becker, she is not a drug addict like his mother, nothing like her. The first one, Katie is an addict, but Alison, she deserves better. She says if he tells her where they are they take lethal injection off the table, but only for the next ten seconds. He says they are at an illegal dumping site, he let them there at 3:30pm.

Jubal sends Maggie and Omar out to the site with a team, they call out the girls names. The find one toy chest, break it open and pen it to find Alison inside. They keep looking for Katie, they end up finding the other toy chest, but its too late, Katie is dead.

Isobel and Maggie head over to speak to Katie’s mother, she says her daughter’s fingers were raw, she was clawing at the toy chest like it was a coffin, she just needed someone to help. Her mother is upset because she told the NYPD and called the FBI three days ago and nobody did anything until a Senator’s daughter went missing. She tells the two of them to get the hell out of there.

THE END!
