In tonight’s Fire Country episode, Vince was able to convince Megan’s parents to drop the lawsuit. In doing so, his department didn’t get the chance to blame Bode for Megan’s death. Bode didn’t get in trouble. He now gets to stay and continue the fire program. Vince was happy that Bode gets to stay.

Vince was just so happy that Bode survived going off the bridge that he wasn’t upset about anything else. Not even the part where Bode put his life in danger by being a hero. Vince was proud of his son for what he did. He wished that he had the chance to tell Bode right after it happened and now he felt too much time has passed for him to say the words.

His wife Sharon told him that it was never too late to tell Bode they were proud of him. She encouraged him to talk to his son and Vince said he would do it, but no one expected a day like the one they had. Sharon was at home doing dialysis while Vince went to work at the firehouse. He was there showing a class how to deal with a gas fire when they heard a car crash. It knocked out their electricity for a minute until the backup generator kicked in. Or at least it did for the firehouse. The rest of the town wasn’t so lucky.

Sharon’s house lost power. She could no longer use her dialysis machine. She was also helping her neighbor’s daughter, Cara. Cara used to date, Bode. Then they broke up around the time Bode got hurt and could no longer play baseball. Bode told his family that he got dumped. The truth of the matter is something different. He dumped her. He lost his self-confidence after his injury. He pushed people away. He made his family push people away. But Sharon and Cara were reconnecting at the house. Sharon was even helping Cara with her injury.

Cara was touched by a stable electrical current. Sharon was dealing with it. Anyways, the firehouse’s generator kicked in. They felt it was safe enough to open one of the truck doors to go check on the damage outside and that’s when a delivery truck came crashing into the firehouse.

The crash rocked the fire prevention class off. It turned into a massive fire that they had to use several extinguishers on. But the driver wasn’t done causing havoc. He kept trying to drive his car even after the crash. The driver had been working overtime. He hasn’t slept in days and Manny finally convinced him to stop pressing the pedal by saying he was hurting himself more than anyone else. And that part wasn’t true.

The delivery guy drove over someone when he crashed into the firehouse. He drove over Charlie. Poor Charlie. Charlie was trapped under the truck and it was literally his last day in the program. Charlie earned an early release. He was suppose to use his last day learning tips from Eve.

Then this happens. Charlie was trapped under the car. Everyone was working together to get him out of there and trying to keep Charlie upbeat. It was a while before they got Charlie out. Once they freed him, he began to crash. They had to perform CPR on him and that’s top of the wounds he got when he was run over.

Back at Sharon’s house, things took a turn for the worse. Cara has an exit wound. She needed medical attention and at one point Sharon had to perform CPR on her. Cara was too weak to return the favor as Sharon began weakening after her failed dialysis session. Sharon called several times for an ambulance.

It never showed. But Vince did. Vince came by and he was able to treat his wife in large part thanks to Cara. Cara helped him. Cara was a nurse. She decided to follow her dream after Bode ended things. And now Sharon likes her again.

Eve got a pulse again with Charlie. He woke up and complained about seeing everyone’s faces again. But he used his last day and now he’s a free man. He gets to wake up at the hospital as a free man. And everyone was going to miss him.

But Gabriella and Jake are over. She told him that she has feelings for Bode and that she couldn’t be a relationship while having feelings for someone else. And so its over.

THE END!
