General Hospital spoilers and updates for the week of Monday, June 12 to Friday, June 19 over a preview video that features celebrations, prayers and fears! Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) celebrates his birthday, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) and the Quartermaines pray, and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is full of fears.
General Hospital Spoilers: Celebrations
Curtis, Marshall Ashford, (Robert Gossett) Stella Henry, (Vernee Watson) Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) celebrate Curtis’ birthday at the Metro Court rooftop pool.
This is a much different scene than the chaos that reigned when Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) tripped on wet towels and took a header into the pool.
Curtis is also celebrating being a new father, although it’s been over twenty years since Trina was born – the DNA test came back proving she’s his.
Later in the week, Curtis and Trina will form a connection that’s been a long time coming for Curtis, who helped save her life and brought her back from Greenland. The two are shown taking a selfie together.
GH Spoilers: Prayers
A frightened Olivia prays for Ned to wake up, as Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) looks through the window at her father in his ICU bed.
TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) assesses Ned and tells the family that although stable, he has a very serious head injury and there is brain swelling-he may never wake up.
At the Quartermaine stables, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) hugs a frightened Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda) not far from Comet’s stall-Leo’s favorite place to be.
A neurologist, likely called in by Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) named Dr. Montague (Darin Toonder) will further assess Ned, and surgery may be needed to relieve the swelling to his brain.
It looks, however, like Ned wakes up with only a bandage on his head wound received when he hit the edge of the pool when he fell in.
General Hospital Spoilers: Fears
Meanwhile, Nina is full of fears, Ned having overheard her conversation with Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) before his serious accident-she vents to her friend Ava Jerome (Maura West).
Nina fears the second Ned wakes up he’ll spill everything, that she was the one who blew the SEC whistle on Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).
Later, with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) she’s so fearful she takes off her engagement ring-she tears up as he says maybe Ned will start telling everyone the truth!
The truth is what she’s worried about, knowing if Sonny finds out she blew the whistle he’ll dump her because he’s still protective of Carly.
Meanwhile, Carly is talking to Drew, and asking him if he found something…
