General Hospital Recap: Friday, December 1 – Carly Meets Pikeman’s Mr. Brennan – Sonny Rejects New Shipment Offer

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Friday, December 1, reveals that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) worried about all the marriage talk scaring Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), but Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) suggested he didn’t seem to mind.

Brook Lynn got uncomfortable once Chase joined them – especially when Lois talked about Gloria Cerullo (Ellen Travolta) being from a generation where you “put a ring on it” if you were in love.

Although Brook Lynn apologized to Chase in private, he liked her family and didn’t appear bothered by talking about weddings.

In fact, Chase wound up asking Brook Lynn about the three most important moments of her life and wanted to put this one on the list, too. Brook Lynn was stunned as Chase dropped to one knee and asked her to marry him.

Meanwhile, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) took Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) home with her, which led to Molly realizing she’d never been to her sister’s place before.

Molly briefly panicked over forgetting her folder at the park, but Kristina revealed that she’d picked it up for her. Once Kristina got updates on Molly continuing the surrogate search without TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow), Molly feared he might never be ready.

Molly teared up over how desperately she wanted to be a mom before Kristina insisted TJ would come around. Once that happened, Kristina hoped Molly and TJ would consider letting her carry a baby for them.

Molly admitted that she hadn’t reacted well to that offer last time, but that was just about her own pain.

After Kristina made it clear that she truly wanted to help them start a family, she said she was 100-percent sure about this.

Molly needed to talk to TJ before she gave an answer, but she said it meant everything that Kristina offered and pulled her into a hug.

During a dinner date, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) told Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) that the hospital’s plan was to sacrifice him to save themselves.

Liz didn’t think Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) would do that, but Finn didn’t know what to believe anymore.

Finn worried about not coming across as sympathetic to a jury, so Liz offered to help him project his inward kindness outward and get the jury on his side.

At Kelly’s, a man with what seemed to be an Australian accent told Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) that he was in town on business. Mr. Brennan (Charles Mesure) claimed that someone at the Metro Court recommended Kelly’s since he was craving a good burger.

Carly let Mr. Brennan know she was the owner and gave him a perfectly cooked patty, so he voiced his approval.

When a homeless guy showed up outside, Carly pushed him to come in where it was warm. The man refused, so Carly brought him some food and assured him that he could hang around to eat it.

Once Carly returned to Mr. Brennan at the counter, he questioned why she fed the homeless person instead of turning him away.

Carly suggested she would be sending leftover food to the homeless shelter anyway and added that at least this way the man would get a hot meal.

After Mr. Brennan asked for a check, he also offered some cash for Carly to pass along to the homeless guy outside.

Next, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) grilled Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) about his interaction with Austin at GH, which involved putting the doc in a headlock and threatening him.

Sonny worried that could be a problem, so he promised good representation if Dex needed an attorney. Dex was also instructed to refuse to talk to the cops without his lawyer present if he got picked up.

Roman Hume (Mark Englehardt) arrived for the meeting and told Sonny that Pikeman needed him to facilitate another shipment, but Sonny insisted he wouldn’t until they told him who fired shots at the Metro Court.

Hume said they were willing to pay double this time and opened a briefcase full of cash, but Sonny told him to take it back to his superiors. Sonny argued that he wouldn’t move anything else at any price and added that they should find another harbor.

Hume vowed to relay the message and left, so Sonny asked for Dex’s opinion on what just went down. Dex feared that Sonny had made a mistake since he could become an obstacle to be eliminated.

Sonny, on the other hand, was betting that Pikeman would think he was more trouble than he was worth and just move on.

Afterward, Hume met up with Mr. Brennan at Kelly’s and said they had a problem since Sonny refused to move any more of their shipments.

At Wyndemere, Ava Jerome (Maura West) let Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) in after summoning her. Once Ava showed Nina the photo of deceased Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) that arrived in the mail, Nina was horrified.

Ava also revealed the “you’re welcome” note and told the whole ugly story of how she thought she caused Nikolas Cassadine’s (Adam Huss) grim fate. Nina reeled over Ava getting blackmailed by Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey), who was working for Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).

Ava admitted that Sonny knew everything, but he didn’t want Nina involved. Since Austin testified for Cyrus at the hearing to save kidnapped Ava, Nina acted like that was proof that she meant something to him.

Ava insisted she didn’t mean enough since Austin had deceived her the entire time.

After Ava recapped how she fought with Austin at the gallery shortly before his demise, she admitted the cameras in the back of the gallery weren’t working and couldn’t corroborate her story.

With all that in mind, Ava refused to take the picture and message to the cops since they might think she hired somebody to take Austin out. Once Ava was alone, she burned the note and photo in the fire.

Back with Nina, she showed up in Sonny’s office to confront him over everything she’d learned from Ava about Austin and Cyrus.

Nina was concerned over Cyrus still being after Sonny, but he felt Ava had no business telling her any of that. Nina insisted that the person she should hear this from was Sonny.
