General Hospital Recap: Friday, December 15 – Mike’s Surprise for Sonny, Donna’s Wish Comes True – Cody & Sasha Almost Kiss

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Friday, December 15, reveals that Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) spoke to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and shared concerns about the Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) surrogate plan, but Alexis helped her see that they didn’t get to vote on this.

At Kristina’s place, Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) woke her up bright and early since Kristina still hadn’t revealed the news she teased in a text.

Kristina admitted she was going to have a baby and then explained why she was serving as Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) and TJ Ashford’s (Tajh Bellow) surrogate.

Although Blaze was impressed over Kristina’s generosity, she wondered if Kristina was thinking about what she wanted, too.

Kristina knew it was a big commitment, but she also knew in her gut that she was supposed to do this.

As for Kristina and Blaze’s budding romance, they were on the same page about wanting to see where it might lead.

Kristina shared a couple kisses with Blaze, who ultimately had to take off for a run-through with a choreographer.

At Deception, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) vowed to gain control of the company so she could give it to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms).

Brook Lynn felt that she could convince Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) to sign everything over or even blackmail her into it.

When Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) arrived, she got into a huge blowup with Brook Lynn before storming out.

Brook Lynn made it clear that she planned to give Maxie sole control and keep Maxie away from Lucy’s crazy shenanigans.

Maxie suggested they should get control first and then they’d decide how to divide things up.

Brook Lynn told Maxie they’d indeed gain upper hand since they were unstoppable when they joined forces.

At the Quartermaine stables, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) found a gift and called out for Santa or perhaps a secret admirer.

Cody jokingly wondered if maybe it was booby-trapped and tried to get Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) to reveal herself.

Sasha eventually came out of hiding and let Cody open the gift, which was a book on Monument Valley.

Cody appreciated it and hated that he didn’t have a gift for Sasha yet, but she acted like he’d done more than enough for her.

After Cody snapped over Sasha’s words of gratitude, he softened and suggested he didn’t want her to owe him. Cody wanted Sasha to like him, so she made it clear that she did.

However, Cody didn’t want to rush Sasha and assured her that he was fine with being friends and co-models if that’s all they could be.

Once Cody admitted that he’d ordered a gift for Sasha, he said it was supposed to come before Christmas.

Cody helped Sasha put her coat on and shared a close moment with her, but they held themselves back from kissing.

Meanwhile, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) fished for updates on how Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) felt about their first time in bed together.

Diane gave Robert her approval and wondered if she should call him her boyfriend or something else.

Robert suggested they could just say they were dating, so Diane asked if they were dating exclusively.

Diane needed to know that she’d be a priority over Robert’s exes, so they eventually clinked their coffee cups in agreement.

Over with Laura Collins (Genie Francis), she confirmed to Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) was still a suspect in the Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) investigation.

Laura reflected on her last interaction with Cyrus and how she found herself wanting to believe in his passionate commitment to their family.

Martin confessed that he wanted to believe it, too. Cyrus was ruthless and manipulative, but he was also doggedly loyal – and that was something Martin felt their brother had in common with Laura.

If Cyrus was to blame for Austin’s grim fate, Laura said he must be prosecuted.

Martin pointed out that Cyrus just got released from prison and had a chance to prove himself, so he didn’t see why Cyrus would throw that away.

At Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) penthouse, Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Fernandez) prepared to go Christmas shopping and wanted to get her daddy a special present.

Donna also asked about Grandpa Mike Corbin (Max Gail) and got Sonny to show her a picture of him, which led to some talk about Mike’s beloved cap that had gone missing.

Sonny had an appointment, so Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) arrived to help Donna get a head-start on her shopping until Sonny could meet up with them.

Donna asked if you had to see a star to wish on it, so Michael suggested stars always knew when you wished on them no matter what.

Once Donna felt confident of that, she wished that she could find Grandpa Mike’s cap for Sonny.

After they did some shopping, Donna asked Michael what she should do if her wish didn’t come true.

Michael suggested getting a backup gift just in case, but then Donna exclaimed with glee as she spotted Mike’s cap on a nearby bench.

Once Sonny made it to Laura’s office, she pointed out that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) told her Austin and Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) worked for Cyrus.

Laura knew Sonny must be the source of that info and asked if Cyrus was behind Austin’s demise.

Sonny eventually admitted he didn’t think Cyrus knew Austin was going to betray him.

Since Cyrus saw Austin as an asset, Sonny didn’t think Cyrus wanted rid of him. Sonny also felt that it was too risky to take Austin out like that.

Bottom line, Cyrus wasn’t stupid and would do everything in his power to avoid going back to prison. Laura felt it was a huge relief to hear Sonny say that.

Afterward, Laura spoke to Martin again, so they considered whether it was possible for Cyrus to truly turn his life around.

Once Sonny met up with Donna and Michael, he learned Donna had found Mike’s cap. Michael confirmed that it was the real deal – and Donna insisted it was magic since her wish came true.

Sonny said Mike believed in magic and wishes, so he was proud of Donna and pulled her into a hug.

“Merry Christmas, Dad,” Sonny said Friday’s GH episode wrapped up.
