General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Friday, March 10, reveals that Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) got Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) to admit that he overheard Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) selling the garage, but he didn’t want to get any more involved.
After Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) fished for more information on Gladys’ deal with Selina Wu (Lydia Look) she insisted everything was fine.
Sonny made it clear that Gladys had better know what she was doing before he took off.
Once Sasha found Gladys, she ripped into her for selling the garage behind her back.
Gladys reminded Sasha that she had the final say on financial decisions and pointed out she was doing this for herself, too.
After Gladys played up how she was also grieving Brando and getting daily reminders of him, Sasha softened and understood why she needed to let the garage go.
Although Sasha was still upset about Gladys going behind her back, they wound up hugging it out.
Of course, Gladys didn’t reveal anything about her gambling debt, so it seemed like she was mostly using a sob story to get out of trouble!
Nearby at the Metro Court, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) laid out the clues of everything she’d discovered, so Ava Jerome (Maura West) helped her realize that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) could do jail time for insider trading if it came out.
Now that Nina had dirt on Carly, Ava wondered what she planned to do with it.
At Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) place, he offered Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) a grilled cheese and hoped to grill food for her this summer.
Josslyn liked the idea of Dex being free from his job by then and enjoying the summer by her side.
Once Dex met up with Sonny at the Metro Court, he tried to smooth things over since he’d perhaps been too eager to move up in the organization.
Dex knew that he had to listen to Sonny and do things his way.
Sonny acknowledged that Dex probably felt shut out, but he warned that Pikeman was a snake pit.
Since Sonny had bigger plans for Dex, he thought it was better to keep the blame off him if this deal went sideways.
However, Sonny wanted Dex to help him do a security check at the warehouse for training purposes.
Dex went with Sonny and was examining the place when he noticed a sniper ready to strike.
That led to Dex yelling for Sonny to get down as he shoved the mob boss out of the bullet’s path.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) announced she was serving as the chair of the Nurses Ball for GH’s 60th anniversary.
Mac Scorpio (John J. York) was at the Q manse, so he praised Maxie for her wonderful idea.
Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) promised support from ELQ and the Quartermaine family, so Maxie was pleased.
Maxie accepted a financial donation from Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), but she also wanted him to help with the planning committee.
Michael was reluctant due to Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) illness as well as the new baby and wedding plans, but Willow felt this would give them something positive to focus on and convinced him to get on board.
Meanwhile, Drew helped Carly clean up the mess he made in her kitchen earlier.
Josslyn arrived in time to spot a lovey-dovey moment, so she acknowledged how happy Carly seemed after Drew left.
Carly turned Josslyn’s attention to her own secret romance and the baggage that came with it, but Joss insisted Dex was going to get out of Sonny’s organization.
However, Carly was skeptical and asked if Josslyn really wanted to hang her future on a vague promise.
Josslyn insisted it wasn’t like that since Dex had a real plan.
Back with Drew, he met with Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and suggested they could get back the majority at ELQ now that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) was dead.
Drew felt something could be negotiated with Laura Collins (Genie Francis), who now had control of the shares since they ended up with Charlotte Cassadine (Amelie McLain).
Ned was surprised to learn Drew was willing to step back from ELQ completely and just focus on Aurora.
After Drew pushed for family unity, Ned admitted that he’d given him a lot to think about.
At the Quartermaine stables, Mac stopped by and acknowledged that Cody had reached out a few times after all the chaotic news on Spoon Island.
Over some drinks, Mac opened up about shooting Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom).
Although it was justified, Mac knew part of Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) never gave up hope that Ryan would change.
Since Mac realized Kevin still felt something for his twin brother, he hated that he’d caused his friend pain.
Cody proved to be a good listener, so Mac was glad they were getting to know each other better.
After Cody accidentally dropped the DNA lab report he’d found earlier, Mac picked it up and seemed curious about what it was.
General Hospital spoilers say Cody will pile on the lies soon enough, so stay tuned for updates on his deepening deception.
