General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Monday, August 7, reveals that Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) was confused as she spoke to Nurse Mandy (Daisy Wang) at Ferncliff. Sasha suggested she had a chunk of time missing, so Mandy thought maybe water and breakfast would make her feel better.
After Sasha asked Mandy to call Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs), Mandy came back and said she was unable to reach her.
Sasha hoped Mandy could try Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) instead, but Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) showed up to privately point out it’d be awkward for her to contact him.
After Dr. Montague reminded Sasha of how she went after Cody at the Metro Court pool, she didn’t remember it.
Sasha thought her problems started when Dr. Montague prescribed those pills, but showed off some other meds that were supposedly found in her purse.
Although Sasha insisted she didn’t take them, Dr. Montague argued that she relapsed and gave her an injection of something he claimed would get the drugs out of her system.
Meanwhile, Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante) wrapped up her swim lesson and admitted to missing Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) missed Drew too, so Scout suggested they could miss him together.
When Gladys appeared by the pool and talked to Scout about her daddy being in the slammer, Sam cornered Glady alone to scold her.
That also gave Sam a chance to push for answers about what drove Sasha off the rails.
Gladys acted offended that Sam would accuse her, but Sam suggested she wasn’t accusing – unless maybe there was a reason she should.
After Sam hinted about perhaps doing some digging, Gladys acted like Sam simply didn’t know Sasha like she did and left in a huff.
Later, Sam made a phone call to Ferncliff and found out only visitors that Gladys approved could see Sasha.
At the nail salon, Cody interrupted Diane Miller’s (Carolyn Hennesy) personal time to inform her that he wouldn’t press charges or cooperate with the case against Sasha.
Although Cody wanted Diane’s help getting in Ferncliff for a Sasha visit, Diane couldn’t do anything about that.
Cody eventually made his way to Ferncliff, where he spoke to Nurse Janice (Lauren Swickard) at the front desk and claimed he was Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).
Since Cody was sure Dante was on the list, he hoped he could pose as his buddy and see Sasha.
Janice couldn’t let “Dante” in without his driver’s license to confirm his identity, so Cody struck out and left.
While Sasha shook in her bed and muttered about wanting to go home, Dr. Montague phoned Gladys to let her know he had everything under control.
At the Metro Court, Brick (Stephen A. Smith) revealed research on Betty Rutherford (Ella Lentini), Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth), Gordon Stevens (Maurice Hall) and Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey).
Betty, Gordon and Mason were all connected to a shady trucking company in Pautuck.
After Sonny revealed that Mason was blackmailing Ava Jerome (Maura West) over Nikolas Cassadine’s (last played by Adam Huss) demise, he insisted Mason had to live until they found the body.
Once Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) mentioned her wedding plans to Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), Olivia snapped at her for rubbing her blissful love story in her face.
Olivia was down in the dumps over Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) still being “Eddie Maine” and worried that he’d end up falling for someone new.
However, Olivia admitted she needed a distraction and wanted Sonny to be happy, so she offered to plan the wedding.
After Nina got on board with Olivia being the wedding planner, Olivia talked her into having the nuptials right there at the Metro Court. Nina admitted she was thinking Valentine’s Day for the date.
When Sonny appeared with Brick on Monday’s GH episode, he got updates on Olivia’s new role and offered his gratitude.
At home, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) got a visit from Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), who delivered news about Laura Collins (Genie Francis) continuing the search for Nikolas with Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom).
Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) popped up holding Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) and suggested that maybe Nikolas was no longer alive.
There wasn’t evidence either way, so Spencer ranted about Nikolas’ abandonment and felt that Laura should just come home instead of bothering to look for him.
Valentin asked to hold Ace and thought he seemed to be doing well after all the Greenland drama.
Spencer praised Esme for being a wonderful mother before Valentin gave him credit as a big brother, too.
Once Esme was alone with Spencer, she thanked Spencer for his kind words and suggested making some pictures with Ace.
As they looked over the photos afterward, Esme pushed Spencer’s hair to the side tenderly and smiled like her feelings were growing.
Spencer looked a little unsettled as he sat next to Esme and held Ace.
In Robert Scorpio’s (Tristan Rogers) office, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) showed up to ask what he knew about Pikeman and remembered something being off when she was debriefed in London recently.
In a flashback, Anna recalled seeing a Pikeman file and had a lightbulb moment before she headed home.
When Diane showed up, she invited Robert to an auto show. Robert pointed out that he already had a car he loved, but Diane brought up all the benefits of trading for a new model.
After Diane finally suggested she could take Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) instead, Robert argued that Alexis didn’t appreciate cars. Diane snapped that Alexis appreciated spending time with her and left in frustration.
Once Anna made it back to her place, she got out a pen and paper to connect the dots.
As Anna reflected on what Sonny, Pikeman and the WSB had in common, she circled Valentin’s name in the center of the paper.
When Valentin appeared, Anna admitted she thought she knew who came after her – and she felt confident that Valentin knew, too.
