General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Monday, December 11, reveals that Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) wanted to sing at Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) wedding, so they agreed – though they couldn’t nail down an exact date when they’d tie the knot.
Violet hinted about having two brides and grooms, but Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) got her attention back on the Christmas tree.
Afterward, Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) tucked Violet in and read her a bedtime story, which led to her asking about the cane he was using.
Gregory admitted that he needed a little help to walk, so Violet smiled and said they all needed help sometimes.
Meanwhile, Finn worried about this potentially being his last Christmas with Gregory and got some support from Liz on the sofa.
Liz eventually took Gregory home while Brook Lynn and Chase made their way to the Quartermaine mansion at Lois Cerullo’s (Rena Sofer) request.
As for Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), she complained about the Christmas decorations at the Q manse, which led to some bickering with Lois and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) until Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda) appeared.
Leo worried that Christmas was ruined since Tracy didn’t like fun, but she insisted she could have fun sometimes and brought up when she went to the luau with Brook Lynn.
Tracy also mentioned some animals she saw during her trip to Amsterdam, so Leo was excited to look them up in his book.
In the living room, Lois and Olivia realized Tracy didn’t know about Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) being back to his old self, so they offered updates.
Tracy wasn’t pleased over being left out of the loop, but Olivia and Lois suggested maybe Ned wanted to tell her about his transformation in person.
Talk turned to Tracy’s reason for coming home, so she claimed it was to retrieve some documents that’d help her prove she had Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) power of attorney.
Lois and Olivia were skeptical since they thought it seemed like Tracy actually wanted to be with her family for Christmas – especially when she pulled out some gifts for Leo.
Once Brook Lynn and Chase arrived, they revealed their engagement news. Tracy urged Chase to sign a prenup and pulled Brook Lynn into a hug, which seemed more emotional than usual.
At home on Monday’s GH episode, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) filled Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) in on the experimental procedure that could help him walk again – though he admitted there were risks and no guarantees.
Marshall was concerned, but Curtis pointed out that Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) submitted him to be considered and approved of him taking this chance.
If this is what Curtis wanted to do, Marshall offered his support. Curtis mentioned that the procedure would be happening in January or February.
At Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) penthouse, Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) showed off a ton of presents that she’d purchased, but he was surprised over her modest plans for the grandkids’ gifts.
Nina acted like she was trying to avoid provoking Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) since things were still tense, but she stopped Sonny from calling and speaking to him on her behalf.
Instead, Nina suggested that maybe the situation would get better in time – just as it had with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen).
Since Michael agreed to let them all spend Christmas Eve together, Nina acted like they should just take that as a win.
At Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) place, he declined Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) offer to get him a small Christmas tree.
For Dex, it was a reminder of how tense things got around the holidays in his family when he was growing up.
Dex reflected on how his dad constantly cheated on his mom, who refused to leave him and break the cycle.
Since Dex didn’t worship his arrogant SOB father like his brothers, they beat him up and made life miserable for him.
Although Josslyn was sorry that Dex’s Christmas tree brought dread instead of joy, she hoped he’d let her show him how special it could be.
In their bedroom, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) told Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) about the WSB taking Jameson Forsyth’s body and classifying all the documents related to the investigation, including the arson report.
Dante still had the train locker key and didn’t plan to inform Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) about it until he looked into it himself.
Sam was worried since the WSB could be monitoring him, but Dante doubted that.
Anna, on the other hand, was definitely being monitored – and that meant getting her involved would be too risky.
Sam continued to fret over Dante, but he was determined to look inside the train locker alone.
Dante felt that the WSB was abusing their power, so he vowed to hold them accountable.
General Hospital spoilers say Dante will land in some tight spots thanks to his latest mission, so stay tuned.
