General Hospital Recap: Monday, December 4 – Drew’s Last-Minute Flight Stuns Carly – Nina’s Nixon Falls Secret Haunts

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Monday, December 4, reveals that Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) complained to Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) about the deal Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) locked in with an Australian company called RCD.

Although Ned wanted to blow things up because Michael closed it behind his back, Lois gave Michael some credit for stepping up while Ned was “Eddie Maine.”

Lois was saddened over the Quartermaines still being at each other’s throats after all these years. As Lois channeled Lila Quartermaine (Anna Lee) with some good advice, she suggested Ned should thank Michael and maybe try collaborating next time.

In the kitchen, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) told Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) that he was the sweetest man she’d ever known, but she didn’t want him to feel pressured into proposing because of her crazy family.

Chase eventually pulled out an engagement ring and admitted he bought it weeks ago. Since Chase was planning to pop the question at Christmas, Lois and Gloria Cerullo (Ellen Travolta) simply sped up the timeline.

Everything that was happening with Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) taught Chase that tomorrow was never guaranteed, so he wanted to make Brook Lynn his wife now.

Brook Lynn urged Chase to ask her to marry him again – and when he did, she happily accepted and put the ring on.

After Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) dropped Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) off at her place, she crossed paths with TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) just before leaving.

In the hallway, Kristina responded to a text from Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) asking her to meet up. Kristina texted back her apartment address and invited Blaze over before heading home.

Back with Molly and TJ, they patched things up after their recent fight and agreed honesty was the best approach. Molly explained how Kristina ended up offering to be their surrogate again, so TJ got on board and kissed Molly over their continued baby efforts.

At Kristina’s place, she let Blaze in and learned she wanted to celebrate the success of a new song remix. Blaze offered up a bottle of something fancy, which let to a toast and Kristina’s question about Blaze’s real name.

After Blaze admitted it was Alison Rogers Ramirez, she explained how she had stage fright at an open mic night back in high school. The DJ challenged Blaze to risk going out in a blaze of glory, so she became Blaze that night and got a standing ovation.

Blaze asked Kristina what she was like in high school, so Kristina opened up about surviving an abusive relationship. That led to Kristina opening up about the rest of her dating history, including her affair with her professor.

Blaze asked how old he was, so Kristina corrected her since it was a “she” in her mid-30s. Kristina also mentioned that it had been her only relationship with a woman.

After Kristina said Parker Forsyth (Ashley Jones) dumped her for her ex, she admitted she probably would’ve kept denying that part of herself if it hadn’t been for her. Blaze understood that and ultimately leaned in for a kiss, which Kristina reciprocated.

At Kelly’s, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) gave Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) updates on Bobbie Spencer’s (Jacklyn Zeman) trip to Amsterdam, which would have to be extended since Bobbie was drowning in red tape.

Although Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) had joined Bobbie, Carly said Tracy thought she knew best when it came to settling Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) affairs and was driving Bobbie crazy.

After Josslyn filled Carly in on Adam Wright’s (Joshua Benard) panic attack and struggles with his parents, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) showed up with news about his sudden trip to Australia.

Since Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) was reluctant to leave Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and the kids so soon after Willow’s leukemia fight, Drew offered to go wrap up the RCD paperwork in Australia and perhaps make some new acquisitions.

Drew was flying out for a week starting tomorrow, so he apologized to Carly for the short notice and wanted to treat her to a romantic night before he left.

In Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) office, Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) demanded to know if Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) was after her husband and putting him in danger.

Sonny didn’t want Nina implicated and used Carly as an example of what could happen since he felt the SEC went after her because of him.

Nina argued that Carly really did commit insider trading, but Sonny still felt that was used as leverage to get Carly to flip on him. Sonny mentioned that they knew Carly had info because she ran the business for him while he was in Nixon Falls.

“And I kept you from your life…is that what you’re saying?” Nina asked on Monday’s GH episode.

Sonny just meant that if the FBI thought someone had info, they could get implicated. Since Sonny didn’t want that for Nina, he couldn’t tell her everything.

Nina understood that, but she also said she’d do whatever she could to bring Sonny home if he were in danger. If there was a chance Sonny might not come home, then Nina felt she had a right to know that, too.

Sonny acknowledged that Cyrus set him up to get busted by the feds, but it didn’t work since he was a free man. Nina argued that Cyrus was free too and could go after him again.

Nevertheless, Sonny offered reassurance since Cyrus was mopping floors, Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) was on his way to Pentonville and Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) was deceased.

Sonny didn’t think Cyrus’ allies and connections wanted to work with a broken old man, so he told Nina not to worry.

Nina let Sonny know that there was no need to shield her since she was tougher than she looked and gave him a kiss.

General Hospital spoilers say Sonny has more Cyrus drama coming up, so don’t miss all the action. CDL’s where you want to be for thrilling General Hospital spoilers, updates and news, so make us your top GH source.
