General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Monday, July 17, reveals that Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) wore a dress that she thought would entice Jackson Montgomery (Walt Willey), who invited her to call him Jack over dinner.
However, Jack eventually admitted he knew she was the Lucy that ran Deception and assumed she was only interested in connections to Erica Kane’s (Susan Lucci) Enchantment, the cosmetics company that his ex-wife ran.
Jack insisted he was no longer involved in the company, but Lucy assured him that had nothing to do with her visit to Pine Valley.
Once Lucy got their evening back on track, she flirted with Jack and touched his foot under the table to delay his departure.
Jack needed to go handle a client crisis, but Lucy urged him to stay for dessert since she could make it worth his while.
Once Lucy noticed hummingbird cake was on the menu, she seemed wistful about Martin Grey.
Meanwhile, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) broke in the safe in Jack’s office and found the file connected to Martin.
Before Felicia could get the scoop on what Martin was hiding, the cops arrived along with Jack and a handcuffed Lucy.
Back in Port Charles, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) had a meltdown since she couldn’t find the games for the Quartermaine picnic and Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) wasn’t there to help.
Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) got updates on Olivia’s drama before Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) entered carrying an injured Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda).
Leo had skinned his knee after taking Comet out alone, so Tracy reprimanded him for going against the rules.
After Leo shouted that Tracy couldn’t tell him what to do, he added that she wasn’t his dad.
While Olivia was bandaging Leo up elsewhere, Brook Lynn worried about Leo acting out because of the whole “Eddie Maine” situation. Tracy decided she would have to fix things as usual and took off.
Over with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), he convinced Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) to change their dinner plans and watch “Eddie” perform a concert near Rice Plaza.
Chase was watching over Ned for Brook Lynn, so Gregory was impressed since he was using his time off from work to help.
Talk turned to Tracy helping Chase get his badge back, but Chase worried about her self-serving agenda.
When another busker named Seth showed up, he demanded that Chase arrest “Eddie” for playing in his usual spot. Chase couldn’t do that since Seth didn’t have any specific permit to play there.
Since Seth refused to perform together, “Eddie” suggested they’d have to compete for the spot and started a guitar duel with him.
Once Tracy arrived, she tried to knock some sense into “Eddie” and urged him to fake it if he couldn’t remember his family – including the young son who got hurt because he was acting out over missing his dad.
Although “Eddie” refused to go back to his old life, Chase cornered him and convinced him to come back to the Quartermaine mansion.
It wasn’t long until “Eddie” shocked Brook Lynn and Olivia with his arrival.
Next on Monday’s GH episode, Gregory told Tracy that he wanted to talk to her about meddling in Chase’s life.
At Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) house, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) approved of her plan to use herself as bait and draw the culprit who was potentially after her out of hiding.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) thought the plan was risky and reckless, so he threatened to tell Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Mac Scorpio (John J. York) unless Anna let him serve as backup.
While Anna got on board with Dante’s assistance, Ava Jerome (Maura West) met Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) for dinner at the Port Charles Grill.
There’s where Ava confessed to sleeping with Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth), so Nina wondered why she was acting like taking a hot doctor to bed was a problem.
Moments later, Austin showed up and acted all clingy as he kissed Ava’s cheek.
While Nina was in the ladies’ room, Austin admitted Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) was pleased over the nanny setup and had a replacement for Pilar (Brenda Barberena) picked out.
This was Mason’s chosen spy who could help score Sonny info, but Ava drew the line at having a random stranger around her daughter.
Austin noted that Mason anticipated Ava’s response and urged him to share a message about Ryan’s Bar. The doc suggested Mason said Ava would know what that meant.
Ava realized Mason was threatening her mother, but she didn’t know how he’d even found her since Ava was given up for adoption.
When Sonny arrived, Ava announced plans to hire her own nanny for Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola). Sonny warned that he’d need to approve the person Ava picked, so she assured him that she’d be in touch about it.
Once Sonny left with Nina, he asked her what she knew about Austin.
Nina had only nice things to say, but a suspicious Sonny felt he should know more about Austin if he was dating Avery’s mom and would be in his daughter’s life.
