General Hospital Recap: Monday, June 5 – Carly Predicts Someone Will Die If Sonny's Locked Up

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Monday, June 5, reveals that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) slept with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) following his love profession and cuddled with him afterward.

Dex assured Josslyn that she shouldn’t feel pressured to say she loved him back, so she acknowledged that love hadn’t worked out in her past with Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and Oscar Nero Quartermaine (Garren Stitt).

However, Josslyn didn’t want to let anything get in the way of her future with Dex – not even her own fears – so she told Dex that she loved him, too.

At the bank, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) wanted to take the evidence against Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) to the PCPD on his own, but Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) could tell he was acting weird and hiding something.

After Trina threatened to dump Spencer for keeping more secrets, he came clean about his belief that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) falsified this proof.

Once Spencer explained that Victor previously hinted about doing just that, Trina decided they needed to destroy the contents of that safe deposit box.

If the evidence was illegal and Spencer went back to prison over it, then he certainly wouldn’t be getting custody of Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay).

Spencer said Trina was right and vowed to get rid of the everything, but he secretly kept it “just in case” as he closed the safe deposit box with the evidence still inside.

At GH, Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) told Ava Jerome (Maura West) that her connection to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was of value, but she argued that she didn’t know anything about his business and couldn’t find out.

Mason disagreed and wanted Ava to learn any info she could about a company called Pikeman.

Ava would also have to complete a task of some sort later – and Austin Gatlin Holt’s (Roger Howarth) job was to keep her focused on her goal.

After Mason left, Ava demanded to know who this mysterious boss was, but Austin finally snapped for her to stop.

Austin made it clear that they’d be better off dealing with Mason and seemed genuinely fearful about the boss retaliating if Ava pushed back.

Meanwhile, Zeke Robinson’s (Gavin Houston) arrival surprised Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), who learned her brother had a client in New York.

After Portia gave Zeke updates on Trina, she blamed herself for how close her daughter had gotten to Spencer and hoped Zeke could talk some sense into his niece.

Zeke promised to help in any way he could and made lunch plans with Portia for the following day.

By the Metro Court pool, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) interrupted Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) romantic time with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and acted like BLQ should be busy spying on Deception instead.

Brook Lynn remained suspicious of Tracy’s true agenda and quizzed her while Chase found Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) sulking at the nearby bar.

Later, Jordan let Zeke take the seat next to her, but she warned she wouldn’t be great company. Zeke smiled as he decided to take his chances and clearly seemed attracted to Jordan.

In Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) kitchen, she found out Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) knew about the incriminating footage and had pushed Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) to destroy it.

Carly thought Willow had the right idea and pointed out that Josslyn would be devastated if Dex landed in prison over all this.

Michael assured Carly that Dex would come out of this fine and refused to elaborate, so Carly realized he was part of the plan.

After Michael admitted Dex was his plant in Sonny’s organization, he confirmed that Josslyn now knew everything and wanted Carly to take Sonny down using the footage.

Carly refused to sacrifice Sonny to save herself, so Michael suggested she should do it for her family instead.

That led to Carly reminding Michael of what happened when Sonny disappeared a few years ago, which left Carly and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) struggling to handle the takeover.

Carly insisted that if Sonny went to prison, there’d be a fight for his territory and everyone would want to prove Sonny no longer had power.

That would leave all of Sonny’s family members vulnerable, so Carly warned that someone would die if Sonny got locked up.

Michael still thought this was the best way to keep Carly out of prison and left the encrypted flash drive behind in case she changed her mind.

General Hospital spoilers say that flash drive could lead to terrible news, so stay tuned for the growing danger.
