General Hospital Recap: Monday, May 15 – Dex Surrenders to Josslyn’s Backup Plan – Anna’s Mystery Intruder

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Monday, May 15, reveals that Haven de Havilland (Morgan Fairchild) objected to having a trainwreck like Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) on Home and Heart again, but Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) popped up to help Sasha deal with her.

Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) was confused since Brook Lynn quit, but Brook Lynn claimed she told Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) she was back and suggested it must’ve slipped Maxie’s mind in her feverish state.

Meanwhile, a sleazy employee convinced Haven that Sasha’s return could be a good thing since their ratings went through the rough after her first on-air meltdown.

Soon after, the news of Sasha’s comeback was intentionally leaked, so everyone started speculating on social media about how the appearance might go wrong.

An apologetic Flora Gardens (Susan Batten) was asked to participate, so she wondered why since she was the one who accidentally pushed Sasha over the edge last time.

Brook Lynn figured out that Sasha was being sabotaged, but Sasha remained confident and vowed to show Haven it was a mistake to bet against her.

At The Savoy, Cody Bell’s (Josh Kelly) winning hand made sure Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) crashed and burned at the poker game, so she owed Selina Wu (Lydia Look) $85,000 by the end of the night.

Selina pointed out that Gladys controlled Sasha’s finances, but Gladys refused to take advantage again.

Although Selina initially suggested they had a problem, she later decided there might be another way for Gladys to repay her debt.

When Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) returned home, she drew her gun on an intruder. Fortunately, it turned out to be Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), who slipped in and had been preparing Anna a meal.

Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) eventually derailed things by showing up and demanding to know what Anna was thinking since he wasn’t happy about her actions in Greenland.

On the GH rooftop, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) told Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) pulled the plug on using the evidence, so Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) wouldn’t be going to prison.

After Dex insisted he had to leave town, Josslyn vowed to go with him. However, Dex refused to let Josslyn bail on the people who needed her since she needed them, too.

Once Dex talked about how he didn’t want Josslyn to give up everything and regret it, Joss acknowledged that she was torn.

Although Josslyn wasn’t ready to give up her life to run with Dex, she also didn’t want him to leave, die or end up in prison.

That said, the thought of losing Dex made her heart hurt, so Josslyn convinced him to stay and keep working for Sonny – just until they could find another solution.

In Sonny’s office, Michael admitted that Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) asked him to call off the war and honor Sonny’s place in the lives of the people they both love. For Willow and his family, Michael was willing to do that.

Sonny asked about his grandkids, so Michael confirmed they were included in this push for peace and should spend time with their grandfather.

Once the topic of Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) came up, Sonny and Michael agreed to let Nina and Willow figure out their relationship on their own.

If Willow needed anything, Sonny assured Michael that he was there to help and said he’d see him at the hospital tomorrow.

At GH, Nina quizzed Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) about how he was holding up, but Drew wasn’t comfortable discussing the SEC case with her.

As for Willow’s request, Nina wished she could start fresh with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).

Drew didn’t think that was an option, but he pushed Nina to be honest about her mistakes and then maybe Willow could find a place for her bio mom in her life.

Back at The Savoy, Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) refused to be Cody’s defense attorney until Mac Scorpio (John J. York) and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) filled him in on the Ice Princess necklace being destroyed in The Haunted Star explosion.

That gave Scott the idea to sue the WSB, so he agreed to represent Cody and said he’d need to sign an affidavit testifying that he was Leopold Taub (Charles Lucia) and Dominique Stanton’s (Shell Danielson) son.

Moments later, Cody found out about the Sasha situation happening on social media and feared she’d have another breakdown, so he ditched his conversation with Scott to rush to her aid.

On the Home and Heart set, Haven was hoping Sasha would spiral out of control again, but Sasha stayed calm and introduced the new Decepter Wand.

Suddenly, Sasha seemed thrown since she could hear a baby crying in her earpiece, so that was obviously part of Haven’s evil sabotage as well.

General Hospital spoilers say Cody will make a bold move for Sasha’s sake soon, so stick with us for updates on how he’ll rescue her.
