General Hospital Recap: Monday, November 27 – Nina’s Rescue Riles Up Michael – Trina’s Surprise Dinner Guest

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Monday, November 27, reveals that Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) left a basket outside the gatehouse with some toys and candy for the grandkids since she didn’t get to spend Thanksgiving with them.

Once Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) let Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) open it later, he was excited and hoped to see Nina soon.

Michael was visibly displeased over Nina’s gift and card, but Willow thought it was a sweet gesture and didn’t understand why he was so intent on rekindling bad memories. Although Michael agreed to do better, his heart obviously wasn’t in it.

At the Quartermaine mansion on Monday’s GH episode, Yuri (Cyrus Hobbi) explained that some onions were left burning on the stove, so the turkey was all wet from the activated sprinklers.

Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) called Nina to send over a Thanksgiving feast, but she questioned Gloria Cerullo (Ellen Travolta) about the kitchen blunder and what had her so distracted.

Gloria eventually admitted to getting into an argument with a Russian woman at bingo night. Now Gloria was in trouble with “Uncle Pete” Petrov since that was his wife and she hadn’t apologized.

Unfortunately, Gloria felt it was too late for an apology since they were going after her dog, who was hidden with a friend. Yuri eavesdropped and thought he might be able to help with Gloria’s problem.

At the Metro Court, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Emma Scorpio-Drake (Brooklyn Rae Silzer) joined Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) for a meal.

Anna stepped away from the table at one point to confront Nina about destroying the security footage of Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez).

Nina felt she was just doing Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) a favor, but Anna wondered if Nina thought Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) would see it that way.

Nina also learned that all the turkeys were spoken for at the restaurant, so she had to take over a bunch of pizzas and desserts to the Quartermaine mansion.

Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) answered the door and made it clear that he remembered what Nina did, but he suggested her secret was safe for today.

Soon after, Michael scoffed over Nina coming to the rescue with dinner and cornered her alone to remind her that this wasn’t their deal.

Nina complained since she didn’t plan this and couldn’t control fate, but Michael warned that she’d better figure out how to control it.

After Nina took off, everyone at the Quartermaine gathering sang before it was time to dig into the food.

At Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) place, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) played a board game with Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante), Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).

Sonny brought Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) over before Ava Jerome (Maura West) showed up as well.

Carly told Sonny that Josslyn suggested that Ava should come since it’d be good for Avery after Ava’s kidnapping ordeal.

Sonny also let Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) visit with Josslyn, so the lovebirds shared a sweet moment. Dex greeted Ms. Jerome, but she urged him to call her Ava after everything that had happened.

Back at the Metro Court, Robert had to navigate Emma’s questions about how long he’d been dating Diane.

Sonny also witnessed a tense moment between Nina and Anna at one point, but Nina was quick to downplay it and put the focus back on Thanksgiving gratitude.

In Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) dorm room, she made love to Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) before they shared what they were thankful for this year.

At home, Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) caught Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) looking at the floor plan for the eleventh floor of the Metro Court, where someone opened fire from.

Marshall seemed nervous over Curtis’ news about digging into this, but Curtis felt he had a sense of purpose now and was adamant about finding out who put him in that wheelchair.

Although Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) hoped Trina was done with Spencer, she was forced to plaster on a smile when her daughter brought him to Thanksgiving dinner.

Nevertheless, everyone at the celebration got along well enough, so Spencer’s addition to the family gathering was a success.

General Hospital spoilers say Spencer and Trina have more drama in their future, so stick with us for updates on what’s coming up for this couple.
