General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap review for the week of March 20-24 reveals that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) was used as a punching bag again. Brook Lynn and Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) love story has been a total disaster, so it really feels like it’s time to cut their losses here.
Chase and Brook Lynn’s buildup took far too long, but then the writers tore them apart without giving them much of a shot.
Although Chase was ready to try again, Brook Lynn admitted she signed a nondisclosure deal with Linc Brown (Dan Buran) and had lied about it.
Of course, Chase blew his top and once again left Brook Lynn heartbroken.
It seems like Brook Lynn could use a bad boy love interest who can look beyond her mistakes due to mistakes of his own.
GH writers are pushing Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) together, but maybe Cody and Brook Lynn would be the better match.
After Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) found Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) alone at Charlie’s Pub, she joined him for scotch and urged him to forgive Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr).
However, Curtis basically pointed out it’d be hypocritical of him since he dumped Jordan for far less egregious deception.
Jordan nearly shared a kiss with Curtis, but she’s honestly too good for her judgmental ex and deserves to find a new man who’ll treat her right!
As Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) awaited the decision of the ethics’ committee, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) was on hand to offer support – but only if she wanted it.
GH writers are going out of their way to make Finn less overbearing and more like a proper love interest instead of a controlling jerk. Even so, it feels like too little, too late.
Finn and Liz have never had explosive chemistry anyway, so it’d be nice if the show could let them stick to friendship this time around.
That might open the door to a new love story for Elizabeth as well as one for Finn.
