General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Thursday, June 22, reveals that Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) insisted nothing romantic was going on with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), but Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) pointed out that things could be less platonic on Cody’s end.
Sasha acknowledged that she wasn’t ready to date and wasn’t over losing Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor), so Lucy and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) were supportive since everyone grieves at different paces.
In a moment alone, Sasha spoke to Brando’s pic on her phone and wasn’t sure if she’d ever be over him.
Dr. Montague (Darin Toonder) approached Sasha after eavesdropping and thought she was expressing her emotions in a healthy way.
After Dr. Montague said he was looking forward to their next appointment, Sasha said she was, too.
Later, Sasha told Lucy and Maxie that she had enough to handle right now.
Cody’s feelings didn’t matter since Sasha was focused on ending her guardianship and staying on good terms with Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs).
After Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) dragged Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) away from the pool area, they talked at the Metro Court Gardens.
Kristina worried about Molly Lansing-Davis (currently played by Holiday Mia Kriegel) since she’d just been responding with emojis instead of actually opening up about her endometriosis.
After Kristina expressed surprise that she was the only Davis sister with “functional plumbing,” she hoped Molly and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) could still find a way to be parents.
Back at the Metro Court pool, Gladys assumed that Cody and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) were either bluffing about the evidence or obtained it illegally.
After Gladys claimed they couldn’t have gotten her location from her phone, she insisted that she left it at home the night of the Nurses Ball.
When an employee picked up Sam’s abandoned magazine nearby, her directional microphone fell to the ground. Selina Wu (Lydia Look) put her foot on it and insisted on resolving all the conflict.
Once Selina told Spinelli she could take it from here, she tossed the microphone into the pool.
When Spinelli gave Sam updates in the aftermath, she wondered what Gladys and Cody’s connection to Selina was.
As for Selina, she couldn’t have both her favorite players at odds, so she warned Cody and Gladys to make peace.
Selina argued that Gladys could see to it that the charges against Cody were dropped and pushed her to amend her statement.
After Selina said Gladys would mention remembering her broken clasp, she felt confident that a cater waiter would come forward and say he found the bracelet near Cody’s jacket.
Selina suggested the waiter would claim he put the bracelet in Cody’s pocket for safekeeping.
When Selina spoke with Cody privately, she warned that no one could know that he worked for her.
A lot of money was at stake, so Selina pushed Cody to keep his mouth shut or she’d shut it for him permanently.
Selina then turned her attention back to Gladys and reminded her about the interest she’d have to pay if she kept up this installment plan.
When Dr. Montague cornered Gladys alone, he offered to settle her debt in exchange for a favor.
At GH, Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) visited Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) office and had to put off their Disney World trip due to his editorial board position.
Finn suggested they could do it next year, but Gregory felt that was too far away and vowed to get time off sooner – though he couldn’t do it yet since he just accepted the job.
Talk turned to Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) being an acquired taste, so Gregory decided maybe he should apologize and try to smooth things over. Finn acted like that’d be pointless and would get Gregory nowhere.
Meanwhile, Tracy told Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) that she thought somewhere deep inside, Ned was hiding behind “Eddie Maine” to get away from his problems.
Alexis thought that instead of constantly fighting Ned on this, it might be best to go along with it and let him believe he was Eddie. It might help Ned snap out of it sooner.
Tracy thought it was idiotic to let Ned lean into his delusions and lashed out at Alexis just in time for Gregory to overhear.
In the courtroom, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) worried about Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) facing a punishment he didn’t deserve, but Drew insisted on keeping her out of prison.
Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) showed up since Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) pushed him to come, so he told Drew that she sent her love.
Although Michael felt terrible for Ned’s family, he remained angry with Ned for blowing up Drew’s life like this. Drew said it was happening for a lot of reasons – not just Ned.
Zeke Robinson (Gavin Houston) also met Carly and Michael before court proceedings got underway. Judge Kim asked for Drew’s plea, so Drew entered a guilty one.
However, Judge Kim felt that the proposed deal was too lenient. Zeke defended Drew as a family man who made an error in judgment and argued that the 20-year max sentence was too harsh.
Judge Kim ultimately decided that three years was fair, so Drew was stunned along with Carly.
General Hospital spoilers say Drew will have to pay the price for gambling with his plea deal, so the bad news will just keep coming!
