General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Thursday, September 7, reveals that Mac Scorpio (John J. York) feared Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) might be in over his head now that he was locked up in Bayview. Mac suspected this was about helping Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and wanted to go see Cody, but Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) warned that Mac couldn’t risk ruining the plan and exposing him.
After Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) called Ferncliff and failed to get any info on Sasha, she turned her attention to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) outside Kelly’s.
Nina talked about how they could all be targets if Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) went to prison and asked what Carly was going to do about it.
Carly asked what Nina was going to do about it instead, but Nina pointed out that Carly stepped up when Sonny was presumed deceased.
Once Carly reminded Nina that she kept quiet about Sonny being alive, she eventually softened a bit since Nina was inexperienced when it came to all the mob drama.
Carly offered reassurance since Brick (Stephen A. Smith) had reached out to her with news about stability, so she didn’t think anyone would go after Sonny’s territory right now.
After Carly acknowledged that they needed to work together, she pushed Nina to stop panicking and felt she should really worry about what Sonny would do to the person who betrayed him.
Meanwhile, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) showed up late to meet Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) at the Metro Court pool.
After Spencer talked about how fussy Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) was, he praised Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) for thinking of a lavender bath.
Josslyn got annoyed, especially when Spencer assumed Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) got arrested along with Sonny.
Spencer eventually apologized and went for a swim, which gave Josslyn a chance to talk to Trina alone.
Josslyn wondered why Trina wasn’t upset over Spencer spending all his time with Esme, so Trina admitted she was indeed upset and went on a rant.
However, Trina knew her parents had bigger problems and trusted that the Spencer situation would improve in time.
While Trina enjoyed some lovey-dovey moments in the pool with Spencer, Josslyn left Dex a voicemail to say she missed him.
Dex later texted Josslyn to let her know that he got her message and assured Joss of his love.
At The Invader, Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) gave Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) updates on his plan to tell Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) the truth about his ALS today.
Once Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) showed up, Gregory made a quick exit. Kristina wanted to take Alexis out for a meal and discuss Sonny’s legal woes, but Molly Lansing-Davis’ (Brooke Anne Smith) arrival interrupted them.
Molly started to walk right back out the door, but Alexis was fed up with all the fighting and ordered her daughters to kiss and make up.
Unfortunately, Kristina and Molly wound up clashing all over again before Molly stomped off.
At home later, Molly thought back to her shouting match with Kristina and cried as she clutched her stuffed horse.
As for Alexis, she said she’d give her right arm to have her sister back. It frustrated Alexis since Kristina and Molly refused to make peace, so she urged them to think about what was at stake.
Next on Thursday’s B&B episode, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) showed up to move in Chase’s apartment, so he marveled over her packing so light.
Chase worried Brook Lynn was restricting herself, but she insisted she had everything she needed and pointed out she’d still be visiting the Quartermaine mansion.
Once Gregory arrived, he seemed like he was ready to tell Chase the truth about his condition.
However, Gregory ultimately backed out of the idea once he saw how happy Chase was over Brook Lynn moving in, so they all had pizza together and kept things fun.
Once Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) met with Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) in an alley, she confirmed that she’d wired the money he demanded to his offshore account.
Dr. Montague said he got the notification, but he couldn’t immediately release Sasha and create suspicion.
Instead, Dr. Montague argued that they had to let the drugs clear out of Sasha’s system.
Gladys was upset over waiting until the weekend, but Dr. Montague acted like the diva would detox, the tabloids would get their story and Gladys would stay in charge of Sasha’s finances.
Once Nina called Gladys seeking Sasha answers and demanded that they meet up, Dr. Montague warned that it was Gladys’ job to make sure Nina didn’t blow a fuse over the delay.
After Gladys left, Dr. Montague took a call and said he needed something so good that you’d forget you ever met someone. The doc added that he needed it as soon as possible.
At home on Thursday’s GH episode, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) came clean to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) about helping Cody get committed to Ferncliff.
Dante objected to the plan, but Sam felt she’d want to be rescued if she were in Sasha’s shoes.
Sam insisted she was trying to protect Dante from getting mixed up in something illegal, but he didn’t want to be kept in the dark on things.
Once Sam confirmed that she understood, Dante assured her that he was backing her 100 percent if she felt this was the right thing to do.
At Ferncliff, Sasha panicked at the sight of Cody once he was finally able to wake her. Cody assured Sasha that he was real and invited her to take his hand to prove it, so she ultimately clutched it and seemed convinced.
After Cody assured Sasha that he wanted to help her, he asked her to trust him and said they couldn’t stay there.
Cody convinced Sasha to come with him, but they were stopped in their tracks by Dr. Montague’s return.
Outside Kelly’s, Gladys found Nina on the phone. Nina was threatening to bring the police to Ferncliff since they refused to tell her the name of Sasha’s doctor.
Gladys snatched the phone away and insisted Sasha would be released tomorrow, but Nina didn’t understand the holdup and argued with her as Carly spied through the window.
General Hospital spoilers say Gladys has more issues headed her way, so stay tuned.
