General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Tuesday, October 24, reveals that Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) pushed Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) to sign the documents and make Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) 51 percent of Deception official before things got worse.
Laura Collins (Genie Francis) dragged Scott away to blast him for helping Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) walk free and learned Cyrus paid using the fund he created to help prisoners of reform.
Scott rejoined Lucy and learned she still hadn’t signed the necessary documents.
After taking a phone call, Scott came back to find Lucy was gone and that she’d stolen his pen.
At GH, Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) grabbed Cyrus, pulled him into a medical closet and threatened him with a scalpel.
Austin snarled that Cyrus was free because of him and still tried to eliminate Ava Jerome (Maura West)!
Cyrus was impressed over Austin’s fierce side and decided he’d forgive this clumsy transgression, but he warned Austin to remove his hands and take him to see Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey).
In Mason’s room, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) saw no reason why Mason wouldn’t make a full recovery.
Although TJ expected Pentonville was in his patient’s future, Mason suggested he’d gotten out of worse spots before.
Once Austin brought the boss in, Cyrus moved in close to Mason and pointed out that he struck a deal with his cousin.
Cyrus agreed that if Austin helped him get out of prison, then Ava would be returned home safely.
Since Cyrus wasn’t a man who went back on his word, he pushed Mason to reveal his orders regarding Ava. Mason admitted that Cyrus said to take Ava home, so Cyrus also got him to admit that he disobeyed.
Ava still lived to tell the tale, so Cyrus suggested that Mason’s life would be spared for now.
However, if Mason ever dared to betray him again, Cyrus made it clear that Mason would feel his full wrath.
Meanwhile, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) surprised Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) by coming home for a late lunch.
Curtis had been looking at some pics from Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) trip, so Portia wanted to see and acted like she wasn’t going to butt in their relationship anymore.
Laura arrived to see Curtis just as Portia was leaving, so Portia asked her not to mention Cyrus’ prison release just yet.
Once Laura found Curtis sitting in his wheelchair on the patio, they had a catch-up session and confirmed that they had an unbreakable bond.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) realized Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) invited Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) over, so she assumed her mom wanted to bring up Tracy’s offer and change her mind about how she handled it.
Brook Lynn warned Lois that if that offer came up in the conversation, she’d put her mother in the same box with Tracy and never talk to her again.
Once Chase arrived, Lois roped him into singing a song that might be good for Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez).
Brook Lynn argued that Chase didn’t sing anymore, but Chase insisted that he’d always sing for Brook Lynn and belted out the heartfelt tune.
After Lucy arrived and realized Tracy had made herself scarce, she accused Brook Lynn of being just as responsible for the Deception drama.
Chase tried to defend Brook Lynn, but Brook Lynn felt that she deserved the criticism. Lucy finally signed the papers and hoped Brook Lynn was satisfied!
In Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) office, Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) showed off some picture frames containing wedding photos of Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears).
Nina gave Sonny a frame and planned to share some with Carly Spencer (Laura Right), Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) as well.
Talk turned to Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) rough prison ordeal, so Nina hoped Carly could get him out and changed the subject. After some flirting and kissing, Nina finally tore herself away from her new husband.
Although Michael was ready to let Sonny know exactly the kind of woman he married, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) showed up in Michael’s office and advised against it.
Once Martin highlighted Nina’s wild past, he acted like Michael should be afraid over her going off the rails and seeking revenge.
If Michael insisted on dragging Nina down, Martin warned that he’d better dig two graves!
When Michael arrived at Sonny’s office, he overheard him on the phone planning something special for the perfect woman.
Sonny said he was the happiest he’d ever been and eventually told Michael that he was so glad his son was at the wedding.
Michael had something to talk to Sonny about, but Sonny wanted to show him the framed photos that Nina planned to hand out first.
Sonny also talked about how Michael and Willow understood what it was like to love somebody so much that it hurt. That’s how Sonny felt with Nina, who’d changed his whole life.
Sonny clarified that he had nothing against Carly, who was happy in her own way with Drew – or at least she would be once he was out of prison.
Michael said that’s what he came to talk to Sonny about and recalled how Carly blamed herself for Drew’s predicament.
Sonny suggested Nina might be able to use Crimson to help Drew since it was a very influential magazine.
Michael said not to put that on Nina’s plate and finally decided against blabbing about her role in the SEC tip.
Sonny wondered what Michael wanted to discuss, but Michael claimed he figured out a way to deal with it on his own.
Once he was alone, Michael made a phone call and confirmed that Nina was expected back at her office soon, so he was eager to confront her.
Back at the hospital, Portia noticed TJ was distracted and got him to admit there was just something about a particular patient.
TJ confirmed that he was talking about Mason, but Portia thought it was best to steer clear of him altogether. After TJ decided Mason probably just reminded him of some other creep, he tried to let it go.
As Cyrus left the hospital, he glared at Portia rather ominously as he went.
After Nina received an alarming phone call, she said she didn’t understand how this could’ve happened and cornered Martin at the Metro Court bar.
Nina asked what Martin had done, so he started trying to explain and hoped she could forgive him.
Once Nina suggested it wasn’t the end of the world, she mentioned the contracts that Martin was supposed to file by the end of business yesterday.
When Martin realized Nina didn’t know about the informant leak yet, he promised to make the contract situation right and downed a drink since far worse news was coming.
General Hospital spoilers say Nina will face serious backlash once Michael updates her on what he’s learned, so stay tuned.
