General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Tuesday, October 31, reveals that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) had a nightmare about Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) taking her hostage while Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) stood by and did nothing.
In that dream, Cyrus suggested that Spencer could just replace Trina with Esme Prince (Avery Pohl), so Spencer decided Cyrus was right and let him drag Trina away.
Trina woke up screaming, so Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) grew concerned about her. Adam (Joshua Benard) also knocked on the door to make sure everything was OK since he was passing by when he heard Trina yelling.
Josslyn reassured Adam, who hoped to meet up with Josslyn later.
Once Josslyn turned her attention back to Trina, she got updates on the dream as well Trina’s outburst when Cyrus apologized to her at the gallery.
Josslyn offered to talk to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) about making sure Trina was protected before Trina said the scariest part of the dream was Spencer just standing there.
Although Trina trusted Spencer to stand up for her in real life, she was still unnerved to think her boyfriend must be grateful for Cyrus’ protection when he was at Pentonville.
At home, Esme was holding Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) when Cyrus showed up at the door.
Cyrus was looking for Laura Collins (Genie Francis), but he was happy for the chance to spend time with little Ace since his sister wasn’t there.
Spencer eventually arrived and hurried Esme off to work, where she planned to put Ace in daycare.
That left an angry Spencer alone with Cyrus, who was disheartened to find that Spencer was acting so unwelcoming.
Although Spencer was grateful for Cyrus’ protection when he was behind bars, he still viewed Cyrus as dangerous and didn’t want him anywhere near Ace.
Cyrus insisted he was a changed man and pushed Spencer to give him a second chance like the one Spencer himself had received.
Meanwhile, Laura sought out Sonny and offered news on Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) for sure being alive.
Since Spencer was struggling with abandonment issues, Laura hoped that Sonny could be there for Spencer if he came to Sonny for advice.
Sonny assured Laura that he’d support Spencer, so Laura was relieved since she feared Spencer might do something rash that he might regret in the future.
Talk also turned to Spencer’s struggle to balance his dating life with his role as a surrogate father, but Laura knew Spencer was doing his best.
Once Sonny got a text on Tuesday’s GH episode, he told Laura that she better get home since she had a visitor.
After Laura made it back to her place, she interrupted Cyrus’ tense conversation with Spencer and asked for a moment alone with her brother.
Laura ranted at Cyrus for coming over uninvited and warned that he had no business being around children.
Cyrus disagreed since Ace was related to him and kept playing up the importance of family.
Laura made it clear that Cyrus would have to play by her rules if he wanted another chance, which meant he could only come over when she said so.
After Cyrus handed over his card, he said he’d await her call and hoped she wouldn’t take too long.
At Kelly’s, Trina helped Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) put up decorations for the Halloween party since she needed a distraction. Once Trina summoned Spencer, he was also distracted as he pitched in.
Spencer admitted he was thinking about Pentonville and how far apart he’d felt from Trina when he first got out.
Now everything had changed for the better in their relationship, so Spencer felt like the luckiest guy in the world and gave Trina a kiss.
In the dorm again, Josslyn could tell Adam seemed lonely without any Halloween plans, so she invited him to come help decorate Kelly’s with her.
Back at Kelly’s, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) spoke to Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) about wanting to get a new place of her own, so Felicia suggested she could sublet Maxie’s old apartment – especially since it was already furnished and ready to go.
Soon after, Maxie and Felicia welcomed Anna to her new home. Anna insisted the place was perfect and accepted the key since she planned to move in right away.
Afterward, Anna called Sonny to let him know about her new living arrangements and announced that she’d no longer need his bodyguard.
Sonny was wary of her ditching protection, but Anna felt secure in her new building with a doorman and 24-hour security.
At the café, Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) whined to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) about how she should be allowed to trick-or-treat unsupervised with her friends at 15 years old.
Valentin was against the idea, but Charlotte pouted over him not trusting her and wore him down.
In the end, Valentin agreed to drop Charlotte off with her friends in a safe neighborhood, but she had to agree to a counseling session with Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) in exchange.
Charlotte didn’t think she needed it, but she got on board with the trade and hugged Valentin. After Charlotte promised she’d keep her end of the bargain, she stepped away to get a scone.
Once Valentin got Laura on the phone to set up the appointment with Kevin, he admitted he was worried and thought Charlotte needed help. Charlotte looked uneasy as she eavesdropped nearby.
In Vermont, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) awoke to find Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) painting and eventually went outside to collect apples with her.
Later, Liz and Finn headed to bed for another round of lovemaking as they continued to enjoy their cabin getaway.
General Hospital spoilers say Liz and Finn will have to head home to Port Charles soon, where relationship complications inevitably await them!
