General Hospital Recap: Wednesday, April 5 – Victor’s Abduction Plot – Spencer & Trina Official Couple – Molly & TJ Confess

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, April 5, reveals that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) spoke to his henchman about Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) being eliminated once they nailed down the exact house.

Victor wanted Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) kept alive and made a call to ensure that someone had gained access to the backstage of the Metro Court.

There was also talk about sending a henchman on a special assignment since Victor was taking someone with him when he left Port Charles, so an abduction plot seemed to be in the works.

Meanwhile, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) wished he’d asked Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) if he could escort her to the ball, so she questioned why he hadn’t.

Trina and Spencer acknowledged that they’d been put on the spot during their red-carpet interview, so they were talking about whether they were really just friends when Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) popped up.

Sonny spoke with Spencer privately and pushed him to be honest before seeking updates on where Victor was.

Spencer said he just saw Victor a few hours ago and wondered what was going on, so Sonny asked if Spencer knew Victor moved out of the Metro Court.

That led to Spencer confessing he had no idea. Spencer reconvened with Trina soon after, so that gave them a chance to confirm they were an item.

Unfortunately, Josslyn pulled Trina away to get ready for their Nurses Ball performance, so Trina and Spencer’s kiss had to wait.

Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) began the festivities on stage before TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) performed along with some other GH staff members.

Afterward, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) noticed Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) and TJ were skipping alcohol, so she was thrilled when they confessed that they were trying to get pregnant.

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) tried to ask how Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) was holding up after all his drama with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), but he wound up striking a deal with Nina and just concentrating on the show.

Meanwhile, Cody Bell (Josh Bell) faced off with Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) and threatened to tell Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) that Gladys was using Sasha’s assets to settle her poker debts.

Unless Gladys came clean, Cody intended to spill the news for her.

Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) also pestered Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) about his situation with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), but Finn shut down his brother’s attempt to talk about it.

Next, Liz got on stage for a memorial speech about Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy), whose photo was on the big screen behind her.

At the safe house again, Valentin sang a song for Anna and played a tiny piano he’d found. Anna and Valentin had a cute fantasy where they danced together while they were all dressed up.

After learning Lucy had snuck out again earlier, Anna knew they needed to leave before Victor found them.

Valentin stepped out the door to lead the way and ended up with a sniper’s laser pointed at his chest.

Once a gunshot rang out, Anna shrieked nearby over the danger Valentin was in.

Back at the ball, Trina and Josslyn performed, which led to Spencer complimenting Trina for bringing down the house.

After Linc Brown (Dan Buran) harassed Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) backstage, he got an earful from Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and reluctantly left the dressing room.

Later, Linc caught up with Josslyn after her act and tried to sell her on the idea of being her manager. Josslyn wasn’t interested, but Linc was persistent as usual – and Brook Lynn looked angry over the interaction.

In the ballroom, Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) nearly went over to speak with Mac Scorpio (John J. York), but Ava Jerome (Maura West) didn’t think he should seek out the police.

It was better to be more subtle about being seen together.

Ava told Austin that they should act like they were having fun, so they shared a laugh and downed some drinks.

General Hospital spoilers say Austin and Ava will inevitably land in more trouble eventually, so stay tuned to the ABC soap.
