General Hospital Recap: Wednesday, December 6 – Spencer’s Goodbye to Ace – Josslyn Catches a Lie – Dante Doubts Cyrus’ Guilt

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, December 6, reveals that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) went Christmas tree shopping with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett), which led to her picking a small tree that wouldn’t require going on a ladder.

Curtis knew he was the reason why, so he insisted on a bigger tree and suggested someone else could get on the ladder for him. After Trina got a text, she suddenly acted like the next tree was perfect and took off in a hurry.

Jake Webber (Hudson West) also went Christmas tree shopping with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), but he could tell something was bothering her.

Liz gave Jake updates on Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) malpractice suit and asked how things were going with Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez). Jake assumed they were still dating, but he hadn’t heard much from Charlotte – and even before the incident, she was quiet.

It was tough for Jake to know what Charlotte was thinking, but Liz suggested that it’d take time for Charlotte’s emotional wounds to heal.

As Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) packed up the remainder of her stuff and prepared to move out of Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) place with Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay), she said she’d take a rideshare to her new apartment.

Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) wanted to drive Esme and Ace instead, but Esme argued that she had to get used to doing things on her own.

After Spencer relented, he shared a tearful goodbye with Ace. Esme watched nearby and got a bit emotional as well.

Once Esme and Ace were gone, Trina showed up to comfort Spencer and let him know she was proud of him for doing what was best for Ace.

At Deception, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) prepped Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) for a video conference, but Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) showed up with news about having to pick up a sick James West (Gary James Fuller) early from school.

Maxie realized she’d missed some calls, but Felicia insisted Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) checked James out and determined it was just the 24-hour flu that was going around.

Although Maxie wanted to get home to James, she worried about leaving Sasha and Cody on their own for such an important video conference. Cody and Sasha were confident that they had it under control, so Felicia backed them up.

Maxie caved in and got everything set up for the duo before taking off. Once Sasha and Cody began the video conference, it seemed like it was going to be smooth sailing.

At The Invader, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) helped Finn prepare for his deposition, which left him frustrated over all their rules.

Finn got snappy during their practice run, so Alexis and Martin had to stress the importance of only answering the question asked and navigating the minefield.

In Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) dorm room, Adam Wright (Joshua Benard) was nervous over his makeup test results and pushed Joss to check for him. When Adam learned he got a 97 percent, he was relieved and called his dad with the good news.

That led to Adam admitting he had to take a makeup test, but he lied that it was because he had to take Josslyn to the emergency room. Of course, GH fans know it was really the other way around!

Once Adam hung up, Josslyn confronted him over the lie and made it clear that she wasn’t happy about it. Josslyn also thought Adam should start making decisions for himself, but he said it didn’t work like that in his family.

Adam had to study for another test, but he asked about Josslyn’s grade before he left. When Adam found out Josslyn got a 90 percent, he said that was too bad and was sure she’d do better next time.

Josslyn looked concerned about Adam as he headed out – and once Adam was back in his own dorm room studying, he popped more pills.

Meanwhile, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) headed for Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) office, where Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) joined them for a meeting about the Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) case.

Dante offered all the details they had so far, but he pointed out that the Pautuck PD was mostly running the show.

There were a couple persons of interest, including Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) since it looked like Austin and Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) were working for him the whole time he was at Pentonville.

Laura said that was a huge accusation and asked if there was any proof, so Dante mentioned a confidential informant who had no need to lie about this.

However, Pentonville had no proof of Austin’s visits, which suggested that someone wiped the records clean.

Dante admitted that Cyrus had an alibi since he was mopping floors the night Austin was taken out.

Jordan argued that Cyrus could’ve sent someone else to do his dirty work, but Dante said that’d mean assuming Cyrus still had connections willing to do that.

Furthermore, it’d mean assuming that Dante knew Austin was going to give him up – and Dante wasn’t convinced that Cyrus did.

Regardless, Laura wanted to know everything about the case from now on. If Cyrus was the same ruthless criminal that he always was, Laura vowed to make sure he never saw the light of day again.

General Hospital spoilers say Dante will keep working to uncover the whole truth, so stick with the ABC soap. CDL’s where you want to be for great General Hospital spoilers, updates and news, so make us your favorite GH hotspot.
