General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, July 5, reveals that Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) explained to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) why she wanted Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) in her bubble once she returned home.
Willow thought they should share their miracle, even with people who didn’t deserve it. Now that Willow had a second chance, she wanted to get to know Nina and let Nina get to know her, too.
At Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) penthouse, he pushed Nina not to give up on having Willow in her life.
Michael eventually called with updates on Willow’s release and said she needed her mom.
Back with Willow, she expressed her gratitude to Nurse Clara (Susan Diol) for going above and beyond.
Clara found out Willow was willing to give Nina a chance, so she was pleased over the news.
Once Nina made it to GH with Sonny, she panicked over the secrets she was keeping and told him that she couldn’t do this.
Nina feared she was going to mess things up, but she settled down once Clara came over to give her a mask for the visit.
After Nina headed in Willow’s room, Willow explained that she wanted Nina to be part of the bubble who could see her at the gatehouse.
However, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) would also be part of that bubble, so Willow didn’t want any more fighting.
Nina assured Willow that her feud with Carly was officially over.
In Carly’s kitchen, she told Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) that she planned to sell the house and move to a condo with Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears).
Sam wondered if Carly was really ready to walk away from her home and knew Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) wouldn’t approve.
Carly argued that Drew wouldn’t know until it was too late and acted like she had no choice since this was about money.
Although Carly made a lot of memories in that house, she felt she could carry those with her and insisted she could rebuild her life.
After Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) left his suite at the Metro Court, Felicia posed as a maid and used a keycard to get in for some snooping.
By the Metro Court pool, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) plopped a check in front of Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) and wanted to hire her.
Tracy suggested there was plenty more where that came from if Diane could help her expose The Deceptor as stolen intellectual property in court.
Diane looked over the confidential info that Tracy handed over and asked how she got it. Tracy was cagey about that, but she acted like Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) was the shady one here.
If Diane was going to take this case, she insisted she needed more details – like who owned the property rights to The Deceptor.
Tracy made it clear that Diane would get what she needed, so Diane seemed on board as she took the check and said she’d want a third of the court payoff.
After Tracy spotted Martin nearby, she cornered him and thanked him for defending her back when she framed Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).
Once Tracy confirmed that Martin was still a couple with Lucy, she said she had a proposition for him.
When Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) called with a babysitting emergency, Mac Scorpio (John J. York) had to cut his conversation with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) short.
Dante expressed concern over what Cody was cooking up with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) and hinted about Mac being able to get him out of trouble.
Cody snapped at Dante since he didn’t have the same family and connections to help him in life, but Dante pointed out that Cody could have a family if he could open his heart to Mac as his father.
Back with Diane, she showed up at Carly’s place and found out about her plan to sell the house.
Carly acted like she was out of options, but Diane hinted about Carly underestimating her and seemed hopeful about preventing the sale.
At Deception, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) took one of the pills that Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) prescribed before Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) popped up with questions about Cody getting off the hook.
Sasha explained everything to Brook Lynn as well as Lucy and then took off to grab a coffee. Lucy was eager for Maxie to show up for their meeting and hinted about a snake in their midst.
At Maxie’s apartment, Mac arrived to watch James West (Gary James Fuller) and was joined by Felicia after all her private investigator snooping.
Felicia admitted she was working a case for a friend and dumped a bunch of trash on an old sheet in the middle of the floor.
James and Mac helped Felicia put together a shredded bank statement like a puzzle, so James saw Martin’s name on it.
Felicia eventually discovered that Martin was getting $50,000 deposited per month and that the money was coming from a bank in Pine Valley, Pennsylvania.
Back at Deception, Maxie came in late and faced Lucy’s accusations. Since IT exposed an unauthorized download of confidential information on their shared drive, she pointed the finger at Maxie.
The info was lifted off Maxie’s computer, but she insisted she could access it anytime and had no reason to download it. Maxie also pushed Brook Lynn to back her up.
Brook Lynn grew nervous as Lucy questioned who might’ve downloaded the files instead!
General Hospital spoilers say Brook Lynn will have to think fast and give Lucy an explanation, so stay tuned for more Deception drama.
