General Hospital Recap: Wednesday, May 3 – Carly Throws Nelle’s Past in Nina’s Face – Spencer Snatches Back Baby Ace

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, May 3, reveals that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) frantically called 911 for unconscious Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) before summoning Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) to look after the kids.

Michael worried that he caused this by stressing Willow out with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) talk, but Brook Lynn comforted him before he left for GH with the paramedics and his new wife.

Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) also showed up with Brook Lynn, so she reflected on her horrible wedding night with BLQ’s grandfather and felt that Brook Lynn’s wedding night with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) would be better.

Brook Lynn pointed out that she wasn’t even dating Chase and made it clear that he wasn’t on the hook for the favor Tracy did for her.

When Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver) came downstairs looking for his mommy, Tracy distracted him with a bedtime story until he fell back to sleep.

At Kelly’s, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) tried to pay for a slice of pie, but two of her cards were declined due to her frozen assets.

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) popped up and offered to pay, but Carly managed to find $20 in her purse.

After Nina asked about the wedding, Carly acknowledged that it was beautiful before talking about how Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) inadvertently brought Michael together with Willow and gave them Wiley.

However, Nelle also unknowingly used her dead nephew as a prop, so Carly mentioned that and basically just wanted to remind Nina of what a horrible person Nelle was.

Carly mentioned the SEC drama and how they just had to pray Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) could find Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) before the agents caught up with him.

When Ava Jerome (Maura West) showed up, she asked about the wedding and irritated Carly in the process.

Carly said to tell the waitress to keep both the change and the pie she was wrapping up before heading for the door.

Although Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) assured Nina that the tip was anonymous, she opened up to Nina about her guilt over Drew since he was putting everything on the line for Willow.

Nina pointed out that Drew could lose his company and even face jail time once he came home.

Ava argued that it was possible for Drew to be a hero and still deserve prison, so she didn’t think any of this was Nina’s problem.

Since Nina couldn’t take back the tip anyway, Ava pushed her to focus on trying to be there for Willow if possible.

Outside the pub, Carly got a call from Michael about Willow being rushed to the hospital, so she raced right over to support her son.

At GH, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) came to blows with a WSB agent, but he yelled for Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) to call Frisco Jones (Jack Wagner) before tape was placed over his mouth.

Robert was cuffed to the nearby hospital bed, but Felicia eventually freed him.

Unfortunately, Felicia had bad news since Frisco was fired for refusing to give the order to wipe out the island in Greenland.

The replacement WSB director took over immediately and was ready to destroy the island on the spot.

On The Haunted Star, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) snapped at Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and once again refused to leave Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), who was unconscious following the beating he got from the guards.

Curtis fought off Victor’s other men before Spencer regained consciousness, so they went with Trina to retrieve Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) from the nurse Victor hired.

Once Spencer grabbed the baby and took off with Trina, Curtis met back up with them in the dining area.

Although Curtis gave Trina and Spencer instructions on how to get to the seaplane, Spencer found out there were other rescuers on the island and demanded to know who they were.

Curtis admitted that Drew, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) were also there, so he didn’t intend to leave them behind.

In the bunker, Valentin hallucinated that Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) was in front of him.

Helena made it clear that she wasn’t some angel of mercy and that she wouldn’t be taking Valentin up to the fluffy clouds of heaven.

Instead, Helena vowed to drag Valentin down instead and felt that he belonged there for all eternity. Valentin kept fighting to stay alive, but Helena suggested that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) had sealed his fate.

Although Liesl tried to convince Victor to let her give Valentin the antidote, he refused since Valentin hadn’t offered info on his accomplices.

Plus, Victor felt that the pathogen should do more damage to Valentin’s body so they could see if the antidote worked in later stages.

After fooling a guard into thinking Laura was his fake prisoner, Drew attacked the guy and hid his unconscious body nearby.

Laura entered the lab area before Drew followed, so they were together when Victor arrived with plenty of backup.

Victor delivered updates on the pathogen situation and showed suffering Valentin on a screen as proof that it worked.

In the end, Laura gained the upper hand by secretly swiping a pathogen vial from the container. That gave Laura a chance to hold the vial up like she was threatening to smash it.

Back in Port Charles, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) refused to let Michael in Willow’s room while they handled her latest medical crisis.

Michael leaned on Carly and sought more info from TJ later, but it quickly became apparent that TJ didn’t have good news to report.

General Hospital spoilers say Michael will grow increasingly worried about Willow’s survival chances, but she’ll prove she’s got a lot of fight left!
