General Hospital Recap: Wednesday, November 1 – Charlotte Stole Anna’s Key – Cyrus Seeks a Job

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, November 1, reveals that Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda) was dressed as Albert Einstein for Halloween and happily had a math showdown with Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer).

Meanwhile, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) warned Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) that she wouldn’t accept her Deception gift and made it clear that she planned to pursue music since it was her passion.

After plenty of bickering, Tracy finally relented and admitted she had no doubt Brook Lynn would achieve great things.

Back with Lois, she talked to “Eddie Maine” aka Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) about Leo knowing the heights of tall structures and wound up mentioning the Brooklyn Bridge.

“Eddie” had a memory flash of being on the Brooklyn Bridge after his wedding to Lois, so he got a strange look on his face.

Lois asked if “Eddie” was OK, so he fished for more info on their marriage before dashing off to the other room.

Later, Lois heard “Eddie” playing his siren song on his guitar and learned it was unfinished. “Eddie” seemed frustrated, but Lois gave him a pep talk and felt the fire that got him there could see him through to the end.

At Kelly’s, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) entered despite the fact that it was closed and pushed Carly to give him a job as a cook.

When Carly refused, Cyrus acted like he was surprised that she’d discriminate against ex-cons – especially since Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) would be one when he got out.

Carly argued that Cyrus couldn’t have a job there because she knew who he really was. Despite Cyrus’ reformed act, Carly viewed him as a monster and banned him from Kelly’s.

In Robert Scorpio’s (Tristan Rogers) office, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) interrupted the DA’s argument with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) and encouraged Scott to exit.

Once Diane was alone with Robert, he accepted her invitation to a fundraising event and excitedly made plans to rent a tuxedo.

Over with Ava Jerome (Maura West), she met up with Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and learned there was a potential buyer for Spoon Island.

However, Lucy didn’t have details on that buyer since they wanted to make the purchase through a holding company.

Ava seemed skeptical about all this and demanded the whole amount in escrow. Unless they paid the full asking price, there was no deal.

Next, Lucy met with Scott and asked him to help her break her agreement with Tracy, but Scott doubted that she could. Besides, that’d just relaunch the lawsuit drama and put Lucy right back where she started.

Lucy eventually decided that if she could get back just two percent of the company, she’d be the majority shareholder and Deception would technically be hers again.

Back at Kelly’s, Ava brought Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) for the Halloween party a little early. After Carly set Avery up at the cookie decorating station, she got updates on Ava’s plan to sell Wyndemere.

At Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) house, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) showed up and learned Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) was baking pumpkin bars.

Charlotte asked if Anna wanted to be her guinea pig and shared her trick-or-treating plans.

Anna mentioned that she should probably get a bag of candy in case she had trick-or-treaters, which led to her revealing the news about moving in Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) old flat.

Charlotte thought it was great that Anna had a place of her own now.

A little later, the smoke alarm went off while Charlotte’s second batch of pumpkin bars were baking.

Charlotte told her papa that the oven was on fire, so Valentin and Anna rushed in the kitchen to put it out. That left Charlotte alone in the living room with Anna’s new apartment key.

Afterward, Anna got Robert’s help to move a trunk that had been in storage with Robin Scorpio (Kimberly McCullough), which contained relics and off-the-grid info from Anna’s history.

Anna was hopeful about finding a clue about who might be targeting her within the WSB. Since Anna couldn’t find her key, the super let her in and gave her a spare so she could make a copy.

Robert helped Anna move the truck inside, so she opened it up and mentioned that nobody knew this info existed.

At GH, Valentin took Charlotte for a counseling session with Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom), who assured Charlotte that the details would be kept private.

Charlotte acted like Valentin was overreacting, but she agreed to open up to Kevin and started with the topic what happened in boarding school.

Once the session was over, Charlotte told Kevin that he was easy to talk to and was fine with picking this up again next week. Valentin seemed pleased as he picked Charlotte up and took her back home.

It was ultimately revealed that Charlotte was indeed in possession of Anna’s apartment key since she stole in during that moment alone earlier.

Back with Kevin, he privately expressed concern as he spoke into a voice recorder in his office. Charlotte had mastered the art of camouflaging and only shared what she wanted people to see.

Kevin also worried about Charlotte’s almost symbiotic relationship with Valentin and her deep desire to protect him.

General Hospital spoilers say Charlotte is headed for more trouble, so stay tuned for all the drama that’s brewing.
