General Hospital Recap: Wednesday, November 22 – Jameson Forsythe Hit-and-Run Victim – Anna Identifies Enemy’s Body

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, November 22, reveals that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) paid Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) a visit and wanted to repay all the money that Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) stole.

Sonny felt responsible for allowing it to happen, but Sasha didn’t blame Sonny or need reimbursement.

Since Sonny still wanted to repay the debt, Sasha reached a compromise with him by suggesting he could donate the money to a charity for mental health.

After Sasha said Sonny could make the donation in Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and Liam Corbin’s name, Sonny shook her hand and said it was a deal.

At The Invader, Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) showed off his new cane to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and offered updates on Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) working for the family that was suing Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) for malpractice.

Alexis insisted this was terrible news for Finn since Diane never loses and could convince the jury that Finn was an arrogant doctor.

Gregory asked if Alexis was saying that Finn was doomed, but Alexis thought for a moment and said she’d make a call.

At the Metro Court restaurant, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) asked Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) to give him access to everything he needed at the hotel for his investigation.

Nina handed over the master keycard and her login password so that Curtis could hopefully access security footage on the mainframe.

Since Sonny was potentially targeted at the pool that day, Nina wanted to do everything she could to make sure it wouldn’t happen again.

After Nina hinted about having a lot to lose, Curtis sensed that there was more going on. Nina alluded to some family drama, but Curtis could tell he wasn’t getting the whole story.

Although Curtis didn’t force Nina to elaborate, he let her know he was there if she needed help with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) or anything else – no questions asked.

Meanwhile, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) thanked Laura Collins (Genie Francis) for helping him sort out some business permits before talk turned to Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).

Laura had always been suspicious of Cyrus’ reformed act, but she thought maybe they had a responsibility as siblings to support his effort to be a productive member of society.

When Laura met with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) later, her deputy mayor predicted that Cyrus would eventually break the law again and land back in prison.

Jordan also had a favor to ask off the record, so she filled Laura in on her new mission with Curtis and how it was good for him to have a purpose.

Laura gave Jordan her blessing since it was vital to find out who opened fire at the Metro Court pool.

Since Jordan and Curtis needed access to everything at the PCPD, Laura assured her that they wouldn’t get bogged down by red tape.

Back at The Invader, Martin met with Alexis and Gregory so that he could hear about Finn’s case.

After Martin offered his opinion and a new strategy, Gregory thought they’d found a good lawyer for Finn.

At GH, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) slipped in Charlotte Cassadine’s (Scarlett Fernandez) hospital room, which left Charlotte terrified and downright hysterical.

Anna frantically tried to explain that what happened was an accident and that she wasn’t a threat, but Charlotte was too freaked out to listen.

Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) heard the commotion, so they ran in Charlotte’s room.

While Valentin comforted Charlotte, Liz led Anna away and scolded her for handling that all wrong.

Afterward, Valentin approached Anna and asked “what the hell” she was doing. Anna said she was trying to undo the damage that Valentin and Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) had caused.

Although Anna felt that Charlotte needed to know the truth, Valentin wondered if she really thought she could explain things to Charlotte in her hospital bed.

If Anna really wanted to help Charlotte, Valentin warned that she should stay away. When Anna asked if Valentin was blaming her, Valentin insisted that he blamed himself.

In the morgue, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) heard the details regarding a heavily injured body that had been found by a jogger.

The man had been hit by a large vehicle, but there were no tire marks to indicate that the driver tried to stop.

This guy had three legitimate IDs on him from the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.

Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) agreed to run the man’s DNA and fingerprints through every database they had – and Dante urged Chase to be sure they flagged it for intelligence services.

The body also had a significant bruise on his left heel that wasn’t fresh, which led to the discovery of what seemed to be a keychain under the shoe lining. It had the number 18 on it.

Later, Chase came back with a hit and said this guy’s fingerprints matched up with the United Kingdom ID for Jameson Forsythe.

Dante called Anna to the morgue and spilled the details of what appeared to be a murder.

Since Dante thought this man must’ve worked for the WSB, he asked Anna to take a look and see if she recognized him.

Anna confirmed it was Jameson Forsythe, her past enemy who presumably stole the evidence on himself out of her apartment.

That left Anna wondering who killed Jameson and where the evidence was now.

General Hospital spoilers say Anna will have to tackle some other mysteries along the way, so stay tuned.
