General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, September 13, reveals that Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) showed up at the Quartermaine mansion, where Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) tried to negotiate a deal with her.
Tracy was ultimately willing to accept a 51-49 split when it came to their percentages of Deception. However, Tracy said the deal was contingent on Lucy returning her one-percent voting rights at ELQ.
Tracy ranted about the time Lucy blackmailed her into appointing Lucy co-CEO and admitted it was one of her biggest regrets.
Lucy thought that was ancient history, but Tracy was determined to get her hands on Lucy’s one-percent voting rights.
After Lucy made it clear that deal would never happen, she stormed out. Tracy smiled a bit and suggested they’d see about that!
Next on Wednesday’s GH episode, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) confronted Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), who admitted to taking advantage of their friendship and trust to steal info on The Deceptor for Tracy.
When Brook Lynn tried to explain the situation with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and make excuses for her betrayal, Maxie shut her down.
Brook Lynn wanted to help make things right, but Maxie fired her and insisted that ship had sailed before stomping off.
At the gallery, Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) cornered Ava Jerome (Maura West) and said the boss was “pissed” over her setting them up.
Since Betty Rutherford (Ella Lentini) brought back false info, that meant Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was warned – and the only person who could’ve done that was Ava.
Ava denied warning Sonny and argued that if Betty screwed up, that was on her. Ava also suggested that Mason was at fault for using an incompetent operative.
After Ava once again lied that she didn’t say anything to Sonny, Mason told her that they’d be in touch.
When Ava was alone, she called Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) and said Mason had been there making crazy accusations.
If Mason dragged her under, Ava warned that Austin was coming down with her!
At Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) place, Sonny said he told Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) that the FBI made a mistake and that it was all cleared up.
Carly pushed for the real story, so Sonny confessed to leaving some false breadcrumbs for his enemies.
Sonny also offered updates on Ava getting blackmailed and explained why Betty was hired after Pilar (Brenda Barbarena) was set up.
Although Carly wanted more details, Sonny didn’t divulge the dirt being used against Ava.
After Sonny talked about Betty stealing false information, Carly realized he thought Austin delivered that info to a boss inside Pentonville.
Sonny needed to know who Austin saw during that visit, so he hoped Carly would be willing to help him out.
Carly hesitated since she didn’t want to do anything to put Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) at risk, but Sonny offered reassurance and pointed out they’d do anything for each other.
Although many things had changed between Sonny and Carly, that was one thing that hadn’t.
Carly knew it had to be serious and wanted to protect the kids, so she said she was in and asked what she needed to do. Sonny vowed to tell Carly on the way to Pentonville.
At home, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) expressed concern over Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) making herself an accessory to kidnapping and assault.
Sam was confused, so Dante explained that Cody Belle (Josh Kelly) attacked Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) during his Ferncliff escape with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson).
Once Dante mentioned Dr. Montague’s name, Sam recalled her run-in with him and how Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) was calling his phone.
Dr. Montague also talked about trying to get Sam in a poker game he played in regularly, so Dante realized he must’ve met Gladys through the games in The Savoy’s backroom.
Sam felt like Gladys had to make sure Sasha stayed mentally unfit to repay her debts, so she got Dr. Montague to help her do something to Sasha.
Dante realized Sam was right and slammed the table in anger. After Dante beat himself up over not believing Cody’s claims sooner, he pushed Sam to trust him and tell him where Cody took Sasha.
When Cody awoke at the cabin, he panicked when he realized Sasha was gone. Cody ran outside to look for Sasha, who was simply standing outside so she could get some fresh air.
Sasha was fuzzy on what happened last night, so Cody explained that she had pretty severe withdrawal symptoms and that Dr. Montague was responsible.
After Sasha mentioned the pills Dr. Montague gave her for anxiety and how they sent her off the rails, Cody said she was being drugged long before she was sent to Ferncliff.
Sasha didn’t understand why Dr. Montague would do that since she didn’t even know him.
Cody said Gladys was the one with the motive and stunned Sasha with the news that her mother-in-law was likely paying Dr. Montague.
At the PCPD, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) spoke to Mac Scorpio (John J. York) about the reversal in Sonny’s case and two mental patients being on the loose, so she wasn’t happy about all the chaos.
Mac admitted he didn’t think Cody meant any harm and suggested this wasn’t a kidnapping in his opinion.
Jordan was OK with Mac trusting his instincts, but she insisted Cody and Sasha were still fugitives who needed to be found.
Agent Moss (Jeff LeBeau) showed up soon after, so he talked to Mac and Jordan about Sonny being a step ahead.
Although the FBI hadn’t been able to prove their case against Sonny yet, they planned to keep monitoring him.
Agent Moss mentioned that Dante was present at his father’s arraignment and felt the FBI should know if there was any reason to suspect the detective was feeding Sonny information.
General Hospital spoilers say Dante could find himself increasingly torn about his loyalties, so stay tuned!
