General Hospital Recap: Wednesday, September 27 – Sasha’s Demand Stuns Gladys – Olivia Almost Cheats on Ned

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, September 27, reveals that Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) admitted to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) that she was caught up in the excitement of “Eddie Maine” aka Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) imminent performance.

Olivia also confessed she was hanging her hope on half-finished song since something deeper was seemingly underneath it – like Ned wanted to climb out and the song was the way back.

In The Savoy’s backstage area, Brook Lynn shared a sweet moment with “Eddie” before the show and started to hug him before abandoning the idea. Instead, Brook Lynn just told “Eddie” to break a leg and rejoined the crowd.

Blaze aka Alison Rogers (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) got updates from Olivia on the whole “Eddie” situation, so she told Brook Lynn that must be tough.

Brook Lynn missed her dad, but she was really starting to like “Eddie” along with her family – everyone except for Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot).

Backstage again, Olivia overheard “Eddie” trying to finish his song and approached him with a bandana from Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda).

There was a close moment where Olivia thought “Eddie” was going in for a kiss, but they just ended up hugging awkwardly.

Olivia wished “Eddie” luck and expressed hope about him finishing his song as she went back to the main area.

Next, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) showed up with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) after her first day back at work, so he worried about the stress and additional exposure of being at the nightclub.

Willow reassured Michael this would be good for her – and Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) backed her up before noticing Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) was there with TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow).

Molly and TJ weren’t pleased to see Kristina coming, but she simply congratulated them on the baby and said she was happy for them before walking away.

Michael seemed worried about Tracy causing drama when he spotted her at The Savoy, but she actually wound up being on her best behavior once Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) introduced “Eddie.”

It looked like Tracy enjoyed the performance despite her issues with Ned thinking he was his old rockstar persona.

Although Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) hadn’t made a decision on Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) offer yet, he told Marshall that it was good to be back in the mix.

Curtis’ PR work had pulled in a big crowd for “Eddie,” so they went wild over his performance.

However, that didn’t include “Eddie’s” unfinished song since he didn’t want to perform something half-baked.

At the dorm, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) complained to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) about Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) making them late for their Manhattan trip, which she was both nervous and excited about.

Meanwhile, Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) saw something on her phone and warned Spencer that he couldn’t go.

That led to Spencer calling Trina to cancel their trip since Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) had been exposed to chickenpox according to his daycare.

Trina put on a brave face, but Josslyn pointed out it was OK to be disappointed and angry. Josslyn was sorry over the setback and pulled Trina into a sweet embrace.

Fortunately, Ace’s crisis turned out to be a false alarm since the daycare texted again and confirmed it was just poison oak. Ace was never exposed to chickenpox after all.

Esme informed Spencer, who surprised Trina with the news that he got them a later flight out. Trina was delighted as she hugged Spencer on Wednesday’s GH episode.

At the PCPD, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) joined Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), so they all filled Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) in on their suspicions about Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) and Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder).

Chase offered to help since Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) was his friend, but Cody said that what happened now was up to Sasha.

After Dante made a phone call in hopes of scoring info on Dr. Montague, Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) showed up and tried to represent Cody – though he could tell something fishy was going on.

Back at The Savoy, Olivia felt like she made a fool of herself in front of “Eddie” and told Brook Lynn that she wanted to kiss him earlier.

It was like Olivia almost cheated on her husband, but Brook Lynn pointed out that Olivia would be cheating WITH her husband. Olivia didn’t know what that even meant anymore!

Blaze ran into Kristina and asked if she was there with a boyfriend, but Kristina explained that she was flying solo while Michael and Willow had their date.

Since Blaze didn’t want to be a third wheel to Brook Lynn and Chase following his arrival, she opted to hang out with Kristina.

During “Eddie’s” performance, he dedicated one of his songs to Olivia since she’d been a good friend and left her looking touched.

At home, Gladys played dumb as Sasha entered and hurled accusations at her. Sasha knew Dr. Montague was Gladys’ accomplice, but Gladys acted like Sasha was just confused.

Once Sasha ranted about Gladys draining her bank account and selling Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) garage behind her back, she snapped that Gladys was worried she’d lose her meal ticket.

When Sasha tried to take control of her life again, Gladys had panicked and got Dr. Montague to prescribe pills – ones that interfered with Sasha’s meds and drove her to insanity.

Sasha argued that the worst part of all this was that she actually thought Gladys loved her. After Sasha asked how Gladys could betray her like this, Gladys argued that Cody had filled Sasha’s head with lies.

Sasha thought back to how many times Gladys reminded her to take those pills and raged over Dr. Montague drugging her so that she was barely conscious at Ferncliff.

Once Sasha mentioned the unmarked pill bottle that Dr. Montague had on him, she suggested that he was likely going to stage her overdose.

Sasha angrily asked if that was part of the plan, so Gladys finally blurted out that she never wanted Dr. Montague to hurt her.

Gladys insisted she did everything she could to stop Dr. Montague and that she never would’ve gone along with the plan if she’d known how far he’d take it.

After Gladys insisted she was so sorry, Sasha pushed her to prove it by turning herself in and testifying against Dr. Montague.

General Hospital spoilers say Sasha’s going to face a few more curveballs soon enough, so stay tuned.
