General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) will let themselves get lulled into a false sense of security. It’ll seem like the storm has passed, but a new one is about to roll in.
Since Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) hasn’t been hanging around causing drama lately, Austin and Ava will feel like all the Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) turmoil may have blown over.
The cops believe Nikolas is on the run at this point, so Ava and Austin would like to keep it that way.
As long as it looks like Nikolas fled to avoid legal charges, Austin and Ava can go on living their lives in peace.
At least Ava and Austin could if Mason wasn’t around to stir up trouble again!
Austin and Ava’s bubble will burst when Mason gets in touch with a reminder about that pesky Nikolas secret that they don’t want to get out.
Of course, Ava and Austin don’t realize Mason saved Nikolas, who’s now tucked away on life support somewhere.
However, Austin and Ava certainly know that Mason’s in the loop on too much and could cause serious issues if he blabs to the PCPD.
In the end, Ava and Austin will have no choice but to do whatever Mason says.
GH spoilers reveal that Mason will think they’re making the right choice by cooperating and will deliver some risky orders.
It turns out Mason will have a dangerous job for Austin and Ava to carry out during May sweeps.
There’s no word on exactly what that job involves just yet, but you can bet it’ll be illegal and something neither of them wants to do.
Mason will love having the leverage he needs to control Ava and Austin in the coming weeks.
Thanks to Mason’s blackmail material, he’ll be in charge and will be able to boss Austin as well as Ava around indefinitely.
Naturally, Mason’s own boss will be the bigger problem, so fans will remain eager to learn her identity down the road.
Until then, Ava and Austin will be stuck doing Mason’s dirty work.
