General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) may have to make some tough decisions about his future. GH fans know Brad was devastated when Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) died suddenly following her showdown with Heather Webber (Alley Mills), who nicked her with a venomous hook.
Brad has always felt like an outsider who didn’t fit in, which is why he was so glad to have Britt to talk to.
Since Britt was an outsider as well, it gave them a chance to be on the outside together.
There was no one who understood Brad quite like Britt did, so he’s undoubtedly been struggling without his BFF.
Brad and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) agreed to try being friends since Britt would want that, but Maxie just can’t fill the same hole in Brad’s heart.
Although Brad bonded with Felix DuBois (Marc Anthony Samuel) on the day of Epiphany Johnson’s (Sonya Eddy) memorial service, it seemed more like a nice moment of nostalgia that a turning point for these former flames.
GH writers don’t seem interested in giving Brad a real romance anytime soon – whether it be a new one or a reunion.
However, fans have seen Brad working for Selina Wu (Lydia Look), who’s taken her nephew under her wing and seems to have big plans for him.
Britt was previously concerned about Selina and the dangerous mob road she could take Brad down. Now that Britt’s gone, there’s no one left to worry about poor Brad and this sinister path.
Brad may choose to embrace Selina’s mob power and let her promote him within her organization.
Perhaps Brad will carry out more serious crimes for Selina and become more accustomed to her way of doing business.
Selina might even want Brad to take over for her someday if he can prove he’s got what it takes.
Regardless, Britt’s absence from Brad’s life has no doubt taken a toll on him.
Now Brad’s an outsider without anyone to connect with, so why shouldn’t he just throw himself into the mob world and hope for the best?
Selina may get some good news about Brad’s commitment to her organization if he keeps heading in the mob direction she wants.
