General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) could find yet another reason to be sympathetic to his fake boss. GH fans know Dex is grateful to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) for saving his life, so that’s made him conflicted about scoring proof against him.
However, Dex knows Sonny has committed crimes that he deserves to pay for, so he seems determined to see this through to the end.
Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) goal has always been to put Sonny behind bars or at least force him to flee the country.
A new threat has emerged against Sonny, so that’s already proving to be a game-changer.
Dex didn’t count on this danger rolling in and messing things up, but he’ll have to keep dealing with it now that it’s arrived.
Dex had Sonny’s back at the warehouse, but he can’t be with him around the clock.
It looks like Dex may not be around the next time this enemy takes a shot at Sonny.
During the week of March 27-31, Dex will make a grisly discovery.
There’ll be something gruesome for Dex to stumble across, so it could be an injured Sonny following an attack.
Perhaps Sonny’s enemy will manage to distract his guards and leave Sonny clinging to life alone.
There could be another hired gunman who assumes the job is done, but Sonny may survive long enough for Dex to find him.
Of course, this could also be the aftermath of the Pikeman shipment going wrong.
Sonny might end up with a severe gunshot wound if this is a different sort of trap – and it could indeed be one if his mysterious foe is working with Pikeman.
Whatever the case, GH spoilers say Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will have a reason to come together right after Dex’s discovery.
We’ll see Carly and Nina put their issues aside, so we have to consider why they might do that.
If Sonny is in a fight for his life at that point, it’d be a great reason for Nina and Carly stop all the clashing.
It could lead to Carly and Nina calling a truce for Sonny’s sake and acknowledging that they both care about him.
Will Dex rush injured Sonny to the hospital and give updates to his family?
Will almost losing Sonny be the wakeup call that Michael needs about repairing their relationship?
