General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) desperately need to get on the same page. The show spent many months building up this pairing and tore them apart just as fast through this music storyline that should’ve wrapped up a long time ago.
Most GH fans can agree that Linc Brown (Dan Brown) needs to hit the exit door immediately, so we can hope that the writers will indeed start moving forward the finish line here.
It’s time to focus on Chase and Brook Lynn’s reunion since that’s obviously something they both want.
Of course, it’s complicated since Brook Lynn has done something else she fears Chase won’t approve of.
Brook Lynn signed a non-disclosure agreement as part of her contract with Linc, but Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) offered her a loophole since the Speak Out Act means that can’t be enforced.
In other words, Brook Lynn can still be part of the plan to expose Linc’s harassment, so hopefully that won’t be too big of an issue on the road to a reunion with Chase.
However, there’s another problem since Chase overheard Brook Lynn talking about being over him and acting like she was glad to no longer be in a relationship.
Brook Lynn was clearly trying to convince herself of that as well as Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattson), but it’s not true.
Regardless, Chase still loves Brook Lynn deep down and may eventually make a grand gesture to prove it.
Since Chase is a romantic guy who doesn’t want to live a life of regrets, it’s easy to imagine him doing something big and bold to show Brook Lynn how much she means to him.
That’s especially true now that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) are on the verge of tying the knot.
Chase may get inspired by Willow and Michael’s love story, which could show him that you can’t take people and the special moments you share with them for granted.
Perhaps Gregory Chase’s (Gregory Harrison) grim medical news could be a factor for Chase as well.
If Chase finds out Gregory is dying, he might decide he doesn’t want to waste another second apart from Brook Lynn since time is so precious.
All of this could easily build to a situation where Chase surprises Brook Lynn with a marriage proposal.
Instead of just pushing Brook Lynn to date him again, Chase may go all in on their future and pop the question.
The Nurses Ball would be a good time for Chase to make a move like this, so stay tuned for updates on any grand gesture he might pull off!
