General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) may get a heroic moment soon. The show needs a path to a big reveal since Cody’s still sitting on the truth about his DNA results.
Cody lied thinking he could still get his hands on that doozy of an inheritance, but his plan obviously didn’t work out.
Now Cody doesn’t have the Ice Princess necklace – nor does he have a father who’d love and accept him.
Part of Cody may be wishing he’d been honest, but another part of him feels like he doesn’t deserve a dad as good as Mac Scorpio (John J. York).
Cody is trapped in a mess of his own making, but he seems to have just accepted that.
Of course, GH writers may be building to a situation where Cody proves he’s worthy.
There may be some drama coming up that’ll cement the bond that Cody and Mac share.
Although Mac doesn’t realize Cody is his biological son, he’s still drawn to him.
Mac doesn’t want to see Cody get caught up in any danger or trouble, so he’s been looking out for him a bit.
It may ultimately be Cody’s turn to look out for Mac and perhaps Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner), too.
That’s because Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) will go after Felicia following his escape from Spring Ridge.
Naturally, that also means Ryan will go after anyone who tries to get in his way – and you can bet Mac will be first in line.
Mac certainly won’t stand by and let Ryan harm Felicia, so he’ll no doubt do everything he can to protect her.
However, we have to wonder who will protect Mac! This would be a great opportunity for Cody to leap into action and save Mac from a grim fate.
Cody could display some serious bravery by coming to Mac’s rescue and putting his own life on the line to stop Ryan.
Whether Cody saves Mac, Felicia or both, it just makes sense to throw him into the mix here.
Could this lead to the news of Cody and Mac’s true link coming out? Will Mac get updates on his bio dad status after Cody plays the hero?
