General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) could be making a huge mistake. It’s true that Dex scored incriminating evidence against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), but we can’t ignore Pikeman’s side of all this.
Dex’s video captured Pikeman’s people doing the same dirty deal, so the boss won’t be too happy if this info lands in the cops hands!
There are hints that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) may back out of taking Sonny down, but what happens if Dex provides the PCPD with proof anyway?
Dex himself warned Sonny from the get-go about how dangerous this Pikeman group was.
It’s strange that Dex is now ignoring that danger and acting like he can live happily ever with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) if Sonny lands in prison.
Since Pikeman could face the same heat as Sonny, Dex could be targeted by them for revenge.
There’s nothing to stop Pikeman from going after Dex and trying to make sure he pays.
We also have to acknowledge the fact that the shipment crate contained an extremely powerful explosive.
Just one brick of this stuff can blow up a whole city block, so this isn’t something you want to mess around with.
Pikeman has access to this, so how long until it’s used in retaliation? Could Dex be targeted with an explosive once this whole plan goes south?
If that happens, it might be fitting if that explosive is rigged into some sort of car bomb.
Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) died due to a car bombing, so it’d be a good way to tie in a past storyline.
Despite Dex’s betrayal, Sonny has come to care about him. Would Sonny really want Dex to die the same horrible way Morgan did?
That’s especially true if there’s a situation where Sonny fears Josslyn will be in the car with Dex when it explodes.
It would absolutely devastate Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) to lose another child due to such a similar awful outcome.
Bottom line, Dex may be putting more on the line than he thinks.
Both Dex and Josslyn could get caught in a Pikeman revenge plot – one that’s quite literally explosive!
