General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) romance could be headed for trouble. Let’s look at some huge clues from the June 5 episode and mull over where the storyline might be going next.
For starters, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) made a scary prediction during her conversation with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).
If Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) lands behind bars, Carly feels certain that everyone connected to him will become targets on the outside.
In fact, Carly went as far as warning Michael that someone will die if Sonny goes to prison, so that was certainly an ominous declaration.
Whether Dex actually suffers a grim fate or not, he could at least face a horrifying medical crisis.
A near-death experience might be coming up for Dex, especially when we take a closer look at his recent scenes with Josslyn.
It really felt like the show was trying to add some depth to Josslyn and Dex as a couple, especially since they had that long, romantic montage of their history together.
Of course, Josslyn also opened up to Dex about her hesitation to reciprocate his love profession.
That led to Josslyn talking about how love didn’t last with Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and how she lost Oscar Nero-Quartermaine (Garren Stitt) as well.
Dex gushed over how brave it was for Josslyn to love Oscar knowing they didn’t have a future, so it seems like they could be setting the stage for another scare.
Josslyn never had a chance to see what would happen with Oscar – though she guessed they probably would’ve outgrown each other anyway.
It’s different with Dex since this is Josslyn’s first adult relationship and she feels different than she’s ever felt before.
Josslyn has even more to lose now, so it seems like they’re gearing up for a turning point. It’s possible the show will kill Dex off, but that’d mean throwing away all the buildup and starting over with another plan for Josslyn’s romantic future.
Instead, GH writers could go for the drama of an almost death and bring Dex out on the other side of this potential medical crisis.
Either way, there’s a good chance Dex will get himself shot and rushed to the hospital eventually.
It could lead to a situation where Josslyn fears the worst and has to pray for a miracle!
