General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that the tension will continue to lift between Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr). Once Portia realizes Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) has gone missing, it’ll give her a reason to grow closer to Curtis again and learn on him for support.
Curtis felt deeply betrayed when he learned he might be Trina’s biological father.
Portia sat on this secret for decades and then lied right to Curtis’ face when he asked if it was a possibility.
However, Portia is still Curtis’ wife – and the feelings between them haven’t gone away.
Things may be complicated right now, but Curtis will naturally want to comfort Portia over Trina’s disappearance.
As for where Trina is now, Curtis may be the one to figure that out. GH fans can expect Curtis to reach a shocking conclusion before he leaps into action.
Curtis will turn to Drew for assistance during the week of April 17-21, so he may feel like he needs some backup – preferably from someone who has combat training.
Once the news of Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) vanishing act spreads, Curtis may assume Trina followed him and got tangled up in Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) escape plot.
Of course, The Haunted Star will also be missing, so Curtis will know which ship to look for.
It turns out Trina will indeed be on board with Spencer, but that may not be the case for long if Victor has anything to say about it!
After Victor finds out Trina is an uninvited guest, he may consider her a major problem.
Trina is a very beloved member of the Port Charles community, so Victor may anticipate a rescue mission and too many people trying to hunt them down.
It could lead to Victor wanting to eliminate Trina or at least toss her off the ship, so Spencer may have to get fierce with his great-uncle for Trina’s sake.
Regardless, Curtis and Drew will have a strategy session with Laura Collins (Genie Francis), so they’ll gain whatever information they can ahead of their rescue effort.
Drew knows Victor was once after info from his Navy SEAL days, so he may bring up Operation Demeter again and dig for answers.
That could lead to some clues about where Victor’s final destination is and what he plans to do once he arrives.
If Curtis is indeed Trina’s bio dad, he could end up saving his own daughter with a little help from Drew!
Curtis may put his family with Portia back together and set the stage for a reunion down the road.
