General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Heather Webber (Alley Mills) meant what she said about escaping with Ryan Chamberlin (Jon Lindstrom) and Esme Prince (Avery Pohl). Heather knows the walls are closing in, so she doesn’t want to miss out on the chance at freedom with their daughter and soon-to-be grandbaby.
GH fans can indeed expect this trio to make a break for it – though it’ll be interesting to see whether Esme goes with Ryan and Heather willingly.
Esme could be more of a hostage in this scenario, but Heather will do whatever it takes to make sure she comes along.
However, the gang could be forced to split up soon after this Spring Ridge getaway proves successful.
Heather will probably argue that they need to get the heck out of dodge and bolt for parts unknown immediately.
Since Heather’s priority is sticking together with Esme and her unborn child, that’ll differ from Ryan’s main goal.
Although part of Ryan will be interested in this family angle they’ve talked about, his obsession with Ava Jerome (Maura West) will remain more important.
In fact, Ryan previously acted like Ava would be part of the family he intends to build with Heather, Esme and her child.
Whether Ryan holds onto that dream or not, he’s got unfinished business with Ava that needs to be addressed.
It turns out Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) won’t avoid Ryan’s attention either.
Felicia will be in grave danger, so that could also lead to trouble for Mac Scorpio (John J. York) and anyone who lands in their orbit, too.
Ryan has had nothing but time at Spring Ridge, where he’s been pretending to be locked in.
That’s given Ryan ample opportunities to imagine his escape and contemplate what he’d do on the outside, so that could lead to horrifying news.
Heather may grow frustrated with Ryan when he insists on sticking around Port Charles longer than she would like.
Ryan might vow to catch up with Heather and Esme later since he’ll be so focused on his Ava and Felicia mission.
