General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) will get an unexpected visitor during the week of March 13-17. Could Maggie Fitzgerald (Heather Olt) show up to check on Esme and meet her new bundle of joy?
Maggie panicked after Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) showed up to grill her in Devon, so she nearly fled.
GH fans will recall that Maggie was terrified of Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) and the threat of him coming after her.
Of course, that threat is gone now that Ryan’s dead.
There’s nothing to fear, so it makes sense that Maggie would want to make the trip to Port Charles and see how Esme’s holding up.
By now, Maggie has surely read the wild news story of Esme being forced to escape Spring Ridge with her fugitive parents, which was followed by Ace Cassadine’s (Jay and Joey Clay) dramatic birth on Spoon Island.
Maggie was adamant that Esme couldn’t have been the hook killer, but she certainly couldn’t have predicted the twist about Mama Heather Webber (Alley Mills) carrying out the murders for her!
Since Maggie cared for Esme when she was younger, she has a very different opinion of her compared to most people in PC.
Maggie was and still is protective of Esme, so she may decide to pay her a visit – especially now that Esme is a new mom.
It’s easy to imagine Maggie offering to help Esme care for the baby, so she could become a nanny to Ace and give Esme some parenting tips.
The whole point of Esme being at Spring Ridge was to put her in Heather and Ryan’s orbit.
Now that storyline is over, so GH writers will probably get Esme out of this prison situation quickly.
There’s much more drama involved if Esme’s free or at least out on bail.
The story now is all about Esme’s battle with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) as well as her potential memory flood.
If Esme’s memories haven’t come back by the time Maggie possibly visits, maybe Maggie could trigger them since she’s such an important face from Esme’s past.
Regardless, it seems like the show may not be done with Maggie just yet, so she might arrive in Port Charles and make a few waves.
