General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Friday, February 10, reveals that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) was all dressed up for his wedding and feeling totally confident about making Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) his wife.
At GH, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) spoke to Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) about Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) bowing out of officiating the wedding.
Although Stella claimed to be sick, TJ felt there was more to the story.
After TJ suggested Stella felt guilty for her harsh judgment of Curtis’ love life in the past, Jordan downplayed that idea.
As for Jordan’s own failed marriage to Curtis, she acted like the outcome was inevitable since secrets were baked into her job.
The only thing Jordan could’ve done differently was to let the truth come from her and not someone else.
In her bridal dressing room, Portia was pensive over the paternity secret she was keeping.
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) appeared and let Portia know that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) was on a phone call just outside.
Portia eavesdropped for a moment and realized Trina was talking to Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), so she later urged Trina to invite him to the wedding if she wanted.
At Wyndemere, Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) showed up and found Ava Jerome (Maura West), who said they had to move Nikolas Cassadine’s (Adam Huss) body to the Pine Barrens right now.
Austin reminded Ava that they said they’d wait until the buzz about Nikolas’ disappearance died down.
However, Ava explained Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) might confess about holding Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) captive.
If that happened, the cops could find Nik’s body during their search of Spoon Island.
After Ava pointed out they were bound together now, she told Austin they had to get going. Suddenly, Spencer arrived looking for updates on what happened between Ava and Nikolas last night.
Ava acted like Nikolas probably left the country after their faceoff, so Spencer seemed taken aback that his father hadn’t said goodbye.
Nevertheless, Spencer ultimately declared “good riddance” and took off after a message from Trina.
Once Ava turned her attention back to Austin, he refused to help her move the body in broad daylight since it was too risky.
Austin said they should do it under cover of darkness after Ava attended the wedding.
Ava got dressed and made it clear that Austin was coming to the nuptials with her. Although they were in this together, that didn’t mean Ava trusted him.
At Liz’s place, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) thought the news about Nikolas leaving town changed everything, but Liz insisted the truth had to come out.
Elizabeth didn’t need Finn to be her hero; she needed him to trust her to handle this her way.
Finn didn’t like Liz’s decision to confess to the police, but he agreed to respect it.
All Finn asked was that Elizabeth wait until morning and have Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) coordinate everything properly.
That still left Liz free for tonight, so Finn suggested they should go to Portia and Curtis’ wedding.
At GH, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) pushed Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) to face the truth – that she was going to die.
Since Willow was running out of time, she wanted to make sure certain arrangements were made so her family would be OK once she was gone.
Michael was reluctant to talk about this, but Willow wouldn’t be at peace until they did.
Although Willow knew it’d be easy for Michael to bury himself in work after her death, she didn’t want their children raised by nannies.
Willow needed to know that her family would be OK and that someday Michael would move on.
Michael cried that he didn’t want to move on and insisted he needed to have hope.
However, Willow needed peace of mind instead and said Michael was the only person who could give that to her. When a nurse interrupted to check Willow’s vitals, Michael stepped out.
Afterward, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) told Willow she was sorry the cord transplant wasn’t happening – and she was sorry that she wasn’t a bone marrow match.
Willow snapped that not everything was about Nina, who said Willow was right.
Nina thought back to how she assumed the heart pendant was meant to link her to her daughter, but it was actually meant to link twin sisters.
Although Nina knew Willow didn’t want anything to do with her or Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier), she still felt the necklace rightfully belonged to her.
Nina tried to hand it to Willow, who turned over in bed and refused to acknowledge the gift. After Nina left it on the nearby table anyway, she took off.
When Michael returned, he told Willow that he would never give up hope.
That said, Michael was willing to do whatever Willow needed for peace of mind. Willow smiled and suggested Michael could start by marrying her.
Meanwhile, Nina met up with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), who revealed that he had Frank bring her dress over for the wedding.
If Nina still wanted to attend, Sonny would follow her lead.
At Curtis’ house, he went to get the good scotch out of the basement, which gave Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) a chance to ask Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) for a favor.
If Marshall had an episode today and seemed like he might cause a scene, Drew agreed to get him out of there without disruption. Once Curtis returned, he shared a toast with TJ, Drew and Marshall.
At the church, Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) cleared the air with Curtis over the past and acknowledged that he was a good man.
Taggert was pleased over Curtis being in Portia and Trina’s lives, so he shook his hand.
Back in the bridal dressing area, Portia showed off her wedding gown as Trina, Josslyn and Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) gushed.
Portia’s dress was her “something new” while her mom’s broach was her “something borrowed.”
Trina presented a charm from her suffrage project that served as Portia’s “something old” and “something blue.”
Once Portia said every decision that she’d made was for Trina, she assured her daughter that she was the true love of her life.
Soon after, Trina revealed to Josslyn that she had a date for the wedding after all, so Spencer appeared with a smile.
Finally, Jordan cornered Portia in the dressing area and said she was there to stop Portia from making the biggest mistake of her life.
General Hospital spoilers say Jordan will do her best to get through to Portia before it’s too late, so stay tuned.
