General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Friday, February 3, reveals Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) told Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) that she lied about the pregnancy, the miscarriage and the affair. Liz insisted she never cheated and just came up with the lie on the spot.
After Liz talked about Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) showing up on the pier after her run-in with Esme Prince (Avery Pohl), she said she confronted him.
Liz found out about Nik keeping Esme locked in a tower to protect his unborn baby and the people of Port Charles.
Elizabeth explained the prenatal vitamins were the result of her offering medical care.
By the time Liz realized they were wrong about Esme being “The Hook,” she was in too deep.
Now Elizabeth felt like she’d given up so much for nothing and ranted about Nikolas going too far.
Since Nikolas tried to recruit Carolyn Webber (Denise Crosby) to keep Esme’s memories buried, Liz insisted she couldn’t stay silent anymore.
Finn was taken aback as Elizabeth planned to turn herself in to the cops.
At Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) apartment, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) arrived to share her worries about Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) not waking up and maybe being too weak for treatment.
Josslyn also battled guilt over Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton), so Dex said he really messed up her life.
However, Josslyn reminded Dex that he saved her life instead and assured him that she made her own choices.
Dex wondered if Josslyn regretted being with him, but Joss only regretted not being honest with Cam sooner.
Since Josslyn refused to make that mistake with Dex, she admitted he scared her in a good way – and Dex hinted that he felt the same.
After Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) latest performance with Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) at The Savoy), Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) admitted watching him perform made her so happy.
When Brook Lynn took Chase’s hand at one point, he said he couldn’t do this anymore.
Although Chase promised to help take care of Linc Brown (Dan Buran), he pointed out they were running out of time and not making much progress anyway.
Once the Civilian Complaint Review Board met, Chase needed to be done with this.
Brook Lynn assumed Chase really meant done with her, but Chase insisted he wanted his badge back and argued that music wasn’t his passion.
Brook Lynn felt like she’d ruined any chance of having a relationship with Chase – even a professional one.
After Brook Lynn assured Chase that everything would be squared away before the next meeting, she added that there’d be nothing left between them.
Once Brook Lynn walked away, Blaze brought Chase a drink so they could toast to their continued collaboration.
When Chase hinted about wanting out, Blaze insisted he couldn’t quit and thought it would be a waste.
Blaze admitted working with Chase was the only thing that had made dealing with Linc bearable lately.
When Linc appeared, he was sleazy as usual and told Blaze he thought they agreed on a different outfit.
Chase said the show was over, but Linc warned him to cool it and said he was looking for Brook Lynn anyway.
After Linc found Brook Lynn, he reminded her of the deal they previously agreed on – the one where she’d sign the nondisclosure agreement, help him with his reputation in the press and get her songs back in return.
Back with Chase, he urged Blaze to find a manager who respected her, but she insisted her contract was ironclad. If Chase left her now, Blaze would be all alone.
Once Linc urged Brook Lynn to sign the agreement, he put his hand on her knee. Chase was nearby, so he glared at the interaction.
As a storm rolled in, Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) opened the door for Ava Jerome (Maura West) at Kelly’s.
Since Austin helped save Willow’s life, she wanted to buy him dinner and chat.
Ava reflected on her big Wyndemere win and thought back to a time when she “would’ve gone in for the kill” if anyone crossed her.
Once Ava hinted about something she did today, she suggested she’d make it clear to Nikolas what could come of crossing her.
After Ava insisted she was off to her new castle, she left the restaurant as the storm got worse.
Mason suddenly appeared and was tailing Ava after their recent run-in, so he told someone over the phone that he’d report back.
Austin popped up and gave Mason a dirty look moments later.
In the GH chapel, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) said he was seeking full custody of Nikolas’ child, so Nik flew into a rage and thought Spencer couldn’t be serious.
Spencer said he was dead serious and felt he was doing what was best for the baby.
Nikolas vowed to use every weapon he had to fight Spencer in court, but Spencer insisted his father would give him custody of his own freewill.
After Nikolas said “like hell” he would grant custody, Spencer said Nik had no choice.
Once Spencer hinted about the motive being “revenge, justice, guilt…take your pick,” Nikolas flashed back to making the confession video.
Spencer continued repeating what Nikolas said on that video exactly, but Laura Collins (Genie Francis) struggled to figure out what was going on.
Nikolas realized Spencer had teamed up with Ava and was furious, but Spencer acted like this was a chance at redemption since he could’ve gone to the police.
After Nikolas grabbed Spencer, he pointed out that his son liked to talk about being his own man. In reality, Spencer was every bit a Cassadine.
Once Nikolas released Spencer and rushed out the door, Laura chased after him.
Although Laura didn’t know what just happened, she said Nikolas couldn’t just leave like that.
Laura wanted Nikolas to be the adult here and fix this, but Nikolas didn’t even know who Spencer was anymore. It was bad enough that Ava had to take his home, but Nikolas cried about her taking his son, too.
Laura insisted Spencer was at the precipice and about to make a decision he’d regret for the rest of his life.
Once Laura begged Nikolas not to turn his back on Spencer, he pulled her into a hug.
Nikolas told Laura that she was the best mother he could ever have and added that he’d always love her.
After Nikolas got on the elevator, Laura found Spencer and pushed for updates on what he’d done.
Once Ava settled in at Wyndemere, she answered the door to find Nikolas looking livid.
General Hospital spoilers say Ava and Nikolas have a fierce faceoff coming up, which is sure to mean bad news for Nik!
