General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, January 13, tease that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will land on the hot seat over her reconnection with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez). Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will quiz Trina with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) by her side and wonder how letting Spencer back in is helping.
It looks like Trina will admit the plan she cooked up with Spencer to draw Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) out of hiding.
Trina now doubts that Esme is “The Hook,” but Portia will be concerned over Trina taking such a huge risk regardless.
Meanwhile, Spencer will talk to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and ask if she’s looking for a scoop.
Alexis will be looking for the truth instead, so Spencer will offer up more information on Esme, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and all the latest Cassadine chaos.
Since Spencer told Esme he could possibly be the father of her baby, he’s got another sneaky plan in motion.
Spencer is lying, but he apparently thinks he can manipulate Esme and find another path to taking her down.
Next, Josslyn will face an interrogation at the PCPD, where Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) will ask why she didn’t come forward regarding the hook attack.
Josslyn will have to be careful about how she answers if she wants to protect Dex Heller (Evan Hofer).
However, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) will wave her magic legal wand no matter how this plays out and will try to make it all go away.
Later, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will question Josslyn about a family emergency, so she’ll presumably relay the news that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) has leukemia and is in bad shape at the GH following her collapse.
Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) was hoping to give Willow updates first, but Willow hasn’t woken up yet.
Instead, Carly has now asked to speak with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) alone in the chapel, where she’ll ultimately drop the bio mom bomb.
After Carly says Nina may be the only person on earth who can help Willow, she’ll confess to her cover-up.
Carly will reveal that Nina is Willow’s birth mother and will admit she’s known since Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) confessed on her deathbed.
Of course, Carly will also have to come clean about the DNA test results and how she lied to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), so Nina will inevitably be furious.
Even so, the most important thing will be making sure Nina gets tested as a potential bone marrow donor ASAP.
Elsewhere at the hospital, Drew will stun Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) with the truth about Nina and Willow’s biological connection.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) can also be seen seeking answers in Friday’s preview video, so we’ll see if Drew or perhaps Michael spills about Mama Nina.
Whatever the case, Sonny will open up about his regrets and try to make progress with Michael, though this may not be the best time since Michael will be so stressed out.
