General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, January 27, teases that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will enjoy the afterglow now that they’ve taken the plunge in the bedroom. Drew and Carly should feel good about this bold step, but more trouble’s brewing.
Since Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) wasn’t a bone marrow match, she’s dealing with the heartache of not being able to save Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).
Nina will get some comfort from Ava Jerome (Maura West), who’ll also hear about Nina’s revenge plans.
It’ll be easier for Nina to concentrate on hating Carly than to worry about Willow fading fast.
GH spoilers say Nina will make a payback promise since Carly lied about the DNA results and robbed her of time with Willow.
Nina may feel like she’d be on much better terms with Willow by now if Carly had only come clean when Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) died.
It turns out a payback opportunity could land in Nina’s lap soon enough. Nina will be taken aback over something she sees, so that’ll lead to a major discovery.
After Nina finds out a secret, it could give her leverage to use against Carly and Drew.
Nina might end up with the power to sink Drew and Carly for insider trading based on the dirt she’s about to score.
Next, it looks like Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) will hear the latest Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) news.
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) may explain how they found Lucy and barely made it out of the catacombs alive.
However, Valentin and Anna will want to maintain the illusion of death for a while.
Felicia may think it’ll be too cruel to the people Anna and Valentin care about, especially Charlotte Cassadine (Amelie McLain).
Charlotte has already been worried about the possibility that Valentin might never come home to her.
Laura Collins (Genie Francis) may hear about the catacombs chaos and fear the same since she’ll break some difficult news.
Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will face Laura’s wrath for crossing the line, but he’ll be more concerned about an emergency phone call.
We’ll see Victor flip out over all the action in Paris and perhaps assume his own son has perished.
While Victor seethes over circumstances beyond his control, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) will deal with a bombshell.
There’ll be some sort of sneak attack, but it’ll be for a good cause if it leads to Lucy secretly reuniting with Martin.
After Willow reassures Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver) at GH and gets important medical updates from Terry, she’ll know what she has to do.
Even though Willow doesn’t currently have a donor match, Terry may urge her to proceed with the baby’s birth – that way, she’ll be prepared if a sudden match arises.
Willow will give the green light on calling Dr. Sofia Navarro (Christine Ferraro), so this could be for an upcoming C-section.
Terry may urge Willow not to give up hope on finding a bone marrow donor. Although the clock is ticking, Willow’s hero could be closer than she thinks.
Could Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) be a surprise donor match – or will it be someone else who saves the day?
